Chapter 36
Ibis was a powerful creature of the void, so powerful that the minotaur was having a hard time keeping up. Of course Ibis could climb walls like a spider and breath fire like a dragon, the demon only had strength and one arm left to work with. Talia didn’t pause for a second as she continued to drive the hound forward. She stayed at the beast’s flank while Ibis commanded the front. The beast couldn’t keep up with both, he could parry Talia’s attacks or he could block Ibis’s feral bite. In the end it decided to keep the fangs of Talia’s hound at bay. That left her plenty of opportunity to cut away at its flank. She was using a summoned sword of flame which consumed mana she didn’t have to waste, but time was short and she was desperate. The beast screamed as Ibis
