When I was finally out of sight, I resumed my mission to find my mum. Leaping onto another roofing sheet, I caught site of a familiar figure. I followed the direction of the figure till it was an arms reach away. That when I saw her, not my mum, not my aunt but the girl I saved. Out of curiousity, I followed her closely, making sure not to loose sight of her. She looked distant, as if trapped in her own world and almost bumped into a light pole twice. Both time, I wanted to leap out and save her but she found a way to study herself before I could even make a move. I kept tailing her, leaping from roof to roof so to make sure she didnt get into trouble again. But mainly because I was curious. We reach a humble looking house and as she rang the doir bell, a middle aged woman rashed out and rapped her hands around her. She murmed something to her and helped her inside and for a moment, I missed my own mother. But luck was on my side because the moment they stepped into their house, my pendant glowed indicating I had found my mother. My heart skipped a beat as I looked at the now blue pendant. Just when I looked up, I woman burst out of the building I was on top of, desperately searching for someone. I looked around and then back as the woman when the purple glow of something around her neck caught my eyes. "Mum" I called out from on top of the roof. The woman turned to look up and in the soft glow of moonlight, I saw her. I actually saw her. Her hazel eyes twinkled and her nose stood still, like and arrow pointing towards me. "My mother, this was actually my mother". The woman whose embrace I had longed for for years and I finally get to see her again. I hoped of the roof and stood facing her directly. She rapped her hands around me and for a brief second the world stopped moving. Lifting her head up, she peered into my face. She dislodged her hands and lead my inside. She took me into a room that looked like it had been prepared before hand. Iy seemed like she anticipated my arrival. Sitting on the bed, she took a seat beside me and started filling me up with stories of her life in the human world. My mum was a sourceress who had exhuasted all her powers just to save the supernatural world. She had decided to live in the human world as an ordinary because it was the safest way. My dad had fallen ill after her departure and he planned to move in with her the moment I reached high school. My mum inquired about my dads health and when I told her, I could see the pain in her eyes. We sat there in soleum silence for what seemed like ages. She finally broke the silence and asked if I wanted to eat something. I told her I was okay for the night and bid her goodnight. After my mum left, I strayed to the balconey and sat there staring at the moon. It was a beautiful sight. Todays moon was different than most days. It had a red glow that imediately attracts anyones attention. When I glanced away from the moon, I noticed our neighbours house and remembered her. My eyes began desperately searching for who knows what. Finally, I saw her in the room opposite mine and just sat there looking. She was in bed with her phone at this late hour and I couldnt help but wonder why she was still awake. When she finally put it away, half an hour had passed. She lay in bed, covered herself with a sheet and turned her lamp off. I stayed there a while before retiring to my own bed. When I dreamed that night, I saw her. I was standing in the woods, arms outstretched to her. She started running towards me and all of a sudden she disappeared. When I looked around, I was back in Luna Accademy.
