Chapter Nine : Lexi

234 Words
After orientation, I wanted to talk to Axel but he disappeared suddenly. Enid on the other hand hed busied herself with Lucien. Apparently, they were dating. I decided to go back to our dorm where I was met with emptiness. I plumped myself onto my bed and reached out for my cell phone which as expected had no signal. Heaving a sigh, I put it away. I had read about things like this in books and to be honest, it all felt like a dream. I dont know when I dosed off but wheb I opened my eyes again, Enid was staring down at me with curiousity. "Ahhhhhh!" I screamed and pushed her off of me. "Enid!?" I said in an annoyingly whinny voice. "Sorry" she said rubbing the back of her neck. She explained that she was worried about me when I left and wanted to see if I wasn't well. The other girls were absent in the room so it was left with just us. "What's your deal with Axel?" Enid asked out of the blue. " He kept stealing glances at you during o-rien-ta-tion". I looked at her a little suprised and couldn't help but blush a little. "Was je really?" I asked. She nodded in affirmation. "He saved me once", I said. We chatted for a while about school and stuff for about an hour before I bid her goodnight.
