Damon’s P.O.V.
We were waiting for that day now when Elena would open her eyes again. Both I, Mike and Frank was discharged from the hospital after a week of the attack. Mom forced me to stay at home until I recovered fully. I didn’t want to stay away from Elena but even my dad is helpless when I came to mom’s order. Mike also stayed at home all this time. The wound in his stomach was also deep and he was restricted to move for almost two weeks.
All this time Elena was in the ICU. Her condition was critical and the doctors were afraid that she would slip into an endless coma anytime. If this happened then it would be my biggest defeat. I promised her that I would protect her it didn’t mean that she would sleep all her life. Mom and dad were taking care of everything along
