Dante's basement.
Blair Kate’s father has been in Dante's captivity for a whole month and he was growing weaker and weaker by the day. He has not seen Dante. Dante had not come to visit him but kept sending men to beat him with little or no food through out the day. He laid on the floor his hands and legs Chained to the wall.
The door opened widely, a boy turned on the light. Blair closed his eyes for a while, it was the first time he was seeing light since he was taken away.A strong cologne masculine filled the air.
“ loose him” a deep baritone voice said.
He was quickly unchained and made to sit up.
“ Look up” Dante ordered Blair,Blair looked at Dante.
“Hello boss! Its been a long while”
“ What do you want from me” Blair asked weakly his eyes blood shot.
“No No you don't get to ask that question, I should be asking you what do you want from me. I mean the Mafia's had had a share of their own peace for 3 years, no war, no fight and then you woke up one morning and decided to attack me. I should be asking you why?
“Have you forgotten what you did to my mafia 3 years ago?Blair said.
“ What did I do? I can’t remember” he said pretending not to rember.
“Ohh, I killed your men but it was just a little amount just three thousands which is not entirely my fault and beside its the Mafia.Death is inevitable.You are always prepared to die and moreover I lost 300 men.”Dante said giving a mocking mournful look.
“ I promise you you are going to regret this”Blair said weakily
Dante laughed loudly, he stood up from the chair and stood at the back of the chair, leaning on the empty chair
“ you know I can pull the trigger on you right? but I won't. Of what gain would it be to me if I end your life right now” Dante asked
“ what do you want” Blair asked again he was tired but not ready to give up.
“ something very dear to you, something I only had once and would like to have a longer time. Don't think is your men or money because your weakling of a son has proposed that but I said no. What would I be needing men that are weak for, I mean they can contaminate my men. So i sat down and thought what do you have that would be of importance to me.what are the options? Men, money, treaties, women? He said feigning a thoughtful face.
“ Speaking of women, what about your daughter, Kate. She would be a good option. what do you think? He asked turning the chair around to sit down.
“ your daughter for your life” He said finally stating what he wanted.
“ I would rather die than allow you have my daughter”Blair said
“ Yes! That was what I was expecting but what you don't know is that I have had your daughter”
Blair said giving him a confused look and shook his head
“ Never! It can't happen”Blair said
“You don't seem to understand let me explain more. I f****d your daughter for a period of time. How many weeks? Can you guess?” He asked Blair raising his hands on the air as he counted with a grin “1 week, 2 weeks, a month or 2 months or more? but I must say your daughter is quite a catch, sassy in the day slauty on bed.”
“ That's a lie my daughter would never have s*x with our enemy”Blair said with confidence
Dante chuckled as he stood up” I agree with you your daughter would never agree to do anything with your enemy but the question is. Did she know I was your enemy?” he asked Blair
Blair looked at him utterly confused. How on earth will Katherine not know who their enemy was.
Dante saw his confused face and decided to explain further.
“You know, while my dad was still alive he would sit I and my sister down year after year and tell us who our enemy is, he did not only mention them he showed us their photo but your daughter Kate only knew that I existed, knew I evil, hearless but never saw my photo, you know I spent 6 months in your mafia disguised as Luca before I planned to attack and I must say six months in your Mafia was nice,I mean I tasted vierties of women and your daughter was one of them but you know what made my heart ache the most after my acclaimed death she did not even mourn me. Don't you think its so heartless of her.”
“ you can't be Luca,Luca is dead” Blair said confidentiality,Anthony mourned him.
“Do you remember the night when Blaze was found dead?” He asked Blair, Blair nodded surprised at the fact that he knew Blaze.
“Well I was the one who killed him, he was a sweet man who I have seen visiting your cartel he sometimes gave me money money that I gave to beggars but do you know why I killed him” he asked Blair, Blair shook his head too weak to answer.
“Well because u knew if he was not around you would send Anthony and if you sent Anthony and I was able to impress him he would make me part of your Mafia, I would have sent someone but I decided to go on my own to get the details of the mafia” he said
We killed Luca, Anthony made sure the spy you sent was dead”he said confidently.
“Well surprise! surprise! he's alive, didn't you find it strange that you just found a boy fighting on the streets and made him join your Mafia he even outsmarted your men and you made the silly mistake of making me Kate bodyguard an opportunity I enjoyed.” He said and poured wine in Blair fresh wounds, Blair hissed in pain.
“For me, I would not allow some stranger come into mafia and trust him because he showed a great number of strength. You know strength is needed in the mafia but the most important is skill and devotion your men have to see you as their God but your men see you as their saviour you see a weak boy or a street pickpocket on the street and recurit him into your Mafia that is something I would never do when I want to look for my men I don't pick weak ones like yours, I go to the prison pick people that are heartless, who have killed people in the most brutal way,Men who are void of emotions and most importantly men that would never defy me even for the women they love anyways I would not say much, your daughter or your life, think about it”He said and left
Blair was handcuffed back immediately he left and all Blair could think about in his head was how he was going to save his daughter from the hands of such a ruthless man.
