The months had flown by while Rosie Duvois was in captivity. She couldn't believe it was halfway through the year already, when she stole glances at the calendars hanging up and was allowed to observe the changing of the seasons. It was spring when she had been taken in. Now it was the end of the summer season, where the leaves were beginning to fall already and the nights were becoming chillier. She wondered how much longer she would be a guest against her will. What her friends were doing to save her, and how her parents were coping with her sudden quietness.
