My cheeks warmed slightly, but I answered honestly. "If blessed with children, I would want to raise them with strong Nightveil Pack values while also teaching them about their Moonwhisper heritage. They should be proud of both bloodlines but understand that their primary allegiance is to Nightveil."
Elder Thorne leaned forward. "And if one of those children showed Alpha potential but another Pack offered an alliance through marriage? Would you be willing to send your child away for political benefit?"
