Kaelos's POV
I had no intention of revealing the truth, but seeing Seraphina's reaction made me want to tease her again. I liked how her cheeks flushed every time our eyes met, and how her heartbeat quickened whenever I was near her. There was something very satisfying about seeing her lose her composure.
I moved closer to her, deliberately closing the distance between us. Under the table, my foot touched hers casually—a light touch that seemed accidental, but I knew exactly what I was doing. I enjoyed the tension radiating from her body and how she tried so hard not to show any reaction.
"Are you okay, Seraphina?" I whispered just loud enough for her to hear. "You look... tense."
Her eyes widened, and I could smell her—the scent of her arousal was beginning to fill the air.
