Chapter 20Adin
Adin had arrived in what turned out to be a bloodbath. He had sprinted to Tael and hadn’t separated from his side. They tried to push the fairies and Damian’s forces back.
“Kill him. Now,” Keithia ordered, commanding her troops to assail Tael.
The fairies tried to circle the remaining elves.
Tael rushed to the edge, fighting off the fairies and humans from encompassing them. The grass was soaked red. Bodies were stacked. Adin gagged at the smell of those who had been dead for hours.
“Slaughter him already,” Keithia demanded, eyeing Liam.
Liam was attacked from both sides. Damian’s troops and Keithia’s were trapping Idris’ fiancé. Adin knew if either Liam or Tael died, their soldiers would stop fighting.
