- 16 - Lieutenant Murphy got a call from the Coroner. “I thought I should get back to you as quickly as I heard. We got a match on the DNA sample. We were lucky and it came right up. It’s someone by the name of Cicero Smith.” Murphy sat bolt upright. He’d been sleeping, but he was wide awake now. The name Cicero Smith had stuck with him. It was the name that had been attached to the killing of the helicopter pilot. This was something he could sink his teeth into. Since he’d called the suspect’s name up on the computer something hadn’t set right with him. There was accusation after accusation, but nothing had ever stuck. The guy was teflon.
