Chapter Sixteen
The next morning we were up with the Sun, so to speak. There is something about sleeping in your own bed that makes a difference. My friend’s plan had worked out quite nicely. They had even included a few amenities just for Amy. You know how a young bride can be. Our new larger quarters were excellent. They were solidly built, and airtight. I had ordered a soft bed when we first got married. It was in our temporary quarters on the cargo bay. We moved it into the new quarters. Today Amy is going into the settlement to look for a few feminine touches. I had gotten out reasonably cheap in the construction of the new quarters, so I allowed Amy a few things of her own to make it more hers.
