Zeno and I had history. He was my first crush and my first kiss. We fell put when he left and now he was back. Odd. Mom's hopeful expression made me wince but It was indeed nice to see him again after such a long time; If it doesn't feel so awkward.
"I had no idea you were returning. How are you doing?"
"I can read the shock on your face. You don't seem too happy about my return though."
The strange look he gave me indicated he could read the fear and worrying thought lingering on my mind. It was that obvious.
"It isn't you Zeno. She is just going through a rough patch." My mom inputted on my behalf.
"Yeah, I heard. How are you coping?"
