Jocelyn blinked her eyes in surprise. Especially when she saw Liam cheering while wearing a birthday hat. In his right hand were some black and gold balloons, while his left hand was holding a cake with a lighted candle.
Jocelyn rubbed her face in disbelief. She grabbed her phone and winced when she saw the time and date written on the main screen.
Oh, God. She had forgotten her own birthday. She had intended to stay up all night to get through her birthday, but she just fell asleep.
