Jocelyn exhaled slowly when she saw Lucas sitting behind a chair, reading some documents that were on his desk. She knew that coming to this place would not be welcomed by Lucas, but she had made up her mind to come here.
She still remembers seeing several servants and bodyguards staring at her in surprise when they saw her limping towards Lucas' office, which was located in the annex of the Palacio de Madrid. Jocelyn had contacted Lucas' bodyguard to ask where he was, and it turned out that Lucas had not come home from Palacio since a week ago. It meant that he had been staying at this place since the first time they came back from London.
"I came here to talk about our engagement," Jocelyn spoke slowly.
