Lily’s POV
The dark, gloomy weather covered the city, as I looked aimlessly through my window, with my hands crossed against my chest. And my eyes were wandering in search of nothing, while my mind wasn’t going in the same direction as my eyes.
At this moment, my chest tightened, as each of my heartbeats pounded louder than the raindrops . I ran my fingers through my once perfectly styled hair, which was now a hopeless shadow of itself.
“I didn’t know what to think anymore. ” I murmured to myself. Standing by the window, I watched as the raindrops slid down the window of my room.
Hmm…
I stepped back a bit to close the window behind me, yet my gaze remained fixed on the glass.
“Should I jump?” I bit my lower lip.
“Lily”
I drifted out from my thoughts. I saw Tessa smiling from ear to ear…
“Hey, what’s with that look on your face?”
Tessa looked at me, raising one of her brows and lowering the other one.
Moving closer to where I was, with her hand on her waist.
“I can’t… Tessa,” I mumbled the word, with a still small voice. Shaking my head.

Tessa moved towards me, placing her hand on my shoulder as she made me sit on the edge of the bed.

It’s tomorrow.. Tessa, “ I whispered as I stood up from the bed”.
It’s Ethan Lockwood … every girl’s dream, Tessa said as “ she hit her hands together smiling”. It has always been every girl’s dream to talk to Ethan, he is like a Greek god.
Ohh Tessa, you haven’t even seen him yet and you have a lot to say about him already, rumors aren’t real.
And I don’t want to marry any Ethan Lockwood, or whatever he is , I don’t care if all the girls troop for him.
He should know that I’m not the type of girl and I would never love him.

Tessa, I have tried to stop thinking about how miserable my life will be, and never planned for this at all, he literally has all the women at his beck and call, what exactly does he want from me? At first I thought it was all just a joke.., that father would come back and tell me that all he said was a lie…
