Elijah

  I shoot out of bed to the sound of people trying to mind link me, 'where's the packs dinner brat' the alpha yells through the pack mind link. 'coming alpha'. I got dressed, then ran upstairs, rushing through the halls, and I ran into one of the guests. "I-I'm sorry '' I say while looking up, the girl grabs my hand, I flinch and pull my hands back "I got to go, sorry" i speed off trying to get to the pack's kitchen to finish dinner. I walk into the kitchen and start preparing dinner. "Alex" i hear my alpha say my real name "yes alpha" i respond shocked, "sign these, their for school."  I grab a pen from the drawer confused, and sign the papers. "you'll be starting school tomorrow,  finish dinner, take a shower, and go to bed.” I frown "can I meet the guests?" I ask "you can meet the Alphas son tomorrow," I smile "OK Alpha i'll finish". 

    I finish dinner and head to the washroom, I get in and lock the door, I close my eyes not wanting to see the scars from the past, I get undressed and get in the shower, letting the warm water run down my back. I went to grab the shower head but instead I slipped hitting my head on the ground. "Alex are you OK" I hear my little brother Eli yell through the door. Little black dots start clouding my vision, I stepped out of the tub to get to the towel on the counter. I grab it and wrap it around my body. "Eli are you out there" I ask hoping he is "yes are u OK," I heard him say worriedly  "can you get me an ice pack and the med kit please"

    I hear him walk off to get the med kit. I sat under the water for a while. I hear someone walk in "Eli is that you " a delicious sent hit my nose and a loud growl erupts through the room "who's Eli" I got a little scared "w-who's out there" I ask my wolf Dawn yelling in my head. "tell me who Eli is" I then hear a little voice from the doorway "I'm Eli". I felt fear run up my spine, I stood up as fast as I could and  ran to the door opening it.There I saw a man standing at almost 6'8 in front of the door, he has blue eyes and black curly hair, and smelt like the forest "i-i'm sorry I didn't know that he was -" he suddenly stopped. We were having an intense staring contest that became awkward until Eli handed me the med kit. "Thanks buddy" I say looking down at him "your welcome" he says walking off closing the door behind him.

     I went to close the door and guess what? I fell, because he stopped the door from closing. "please don't hurt me" I pleaded looking up at him seeing  sadness and pain in his eyes. "I would never" he says reaching for me, I flinch, scooting back into the bathroom scared. He walks in closing the door, "don't be scared me amour" he says "why are you here" I ask scared " i'm here for-'', 'alpha yells from downstairs "Elijah get back down here" he growls "i'm not leaving you i'll be back" he whispers, a pain shoots through my head. I hear the door to the room open and we stay as still as statues. "Alex you in here?" My adopted father asks "yes sir i'm getting dressed" I reply "hurry up and get back to the basement" he says rudely "yes sir" I look at Elijah and smile a little embarrassed, waiting for my 'father' to leave. As soon as he shut the door Elijah leaned in for a kiss and I accepted quietly. 

    After a couple of minutes I realized what I was doing and backed away, ignoring Dawn's pleads to go back to him. "Elijah I got to go" I say quietly, "i'll see you later me amour" he says with black eyes, I shiver at the deepness of his voice "are you OK love" he asks snapping me out of my thoughts. "I'll be in the basement" I say sarcastically, getting up I pushed him out of the bathroom and started putting on my clothes. I put a bandage on my head and took a couple painkillers. He stared at me once out of the bathroom. I saw he was laying on the bed "get up puppy lover you need to go downstairs"  I say reminding him. "fine" he says sadly "but I will come back for you" . "I'll be here" I say walking out heading to the basement.

     I walk in looking at my sleeping brother, I walk to him picking him up and putting him on the bed. I walk to my dresser grabbing out a few heat pills. Now I lay down and wait for my mate to come and take me and Eli away to his pack.

       A few hours went bye, my wolf whining. 'He's not coming Dawn he lied, he just wanted to mess with us' I whimper to her. Just when I was about to fall asleep, Alpha crashes through the door waking Eli. I look up to see him practically running down the stairs towards me looking furious. I stand putting Eli behind me, "what do you need sir" I ask "you slut you tricked the alphas son to think he's your mate" happiness and fear rouse in me "he is my mate sir" I say scared for Eli, I sit Eli down and tell him to go back to bed. The Alpha launched towards me, tackling me onto the stone floor and punching me repeatedly in the stomach.

    He pulls me by the hair to the next room, "shift you b***h" he yells. 'Plug your ears' I mind linked Eli. I shift and back away from him scared 'i'm sorry dawn' I hear her whimper. My 'father' takes a silver knife and slashes my back a few times, then he puts a tight silver laced silver collar around my neck. The burning sensation cutting of my airway, hearing the sizzling of my skin burning from the silver. I hear a commotion upstairs followed by a thud and a painful yowl go through the house. The sudden realization of my mate feeling my pain hit me like a truck full of trucks. The serge of wanting to spare Elijah my pain I started tugging against the silver chains holding me in place. I let dawn take over, and watch as she busts the chains, A wave of pain washes over me. I feel Dawn  howl for her mate. Weirdly my father fell into submission.     

    Dawn broke the chain, 'get on' I hear her tell Eli. He got on and we ran upstairs, I felt panic fill our head. Dawn's big white wolf went looking for our mate, sniffing around and we got a hold of his scent that led us to the dining room. We broke the doors down, growling loudly. Dawn became more and more possessive as we ran to Elijah whimpering, feeling bad we caused him pain. Dawn let me take control so I turned around and stared at my 'father' asking him what happened. I remembered that I was in wolf form so I walked over to the curtains, let Eli down, and tore them down. Wrapping them around me I shifted back feeling more powerful than I ever have. "What happened" I ask, confused with the men's facial expressions. "Who are you, and what is your business with my son mutt!" The visiting Alpha asked. “he is my mate sir" I say as calmly as I could. "Bullshit" he spit in my direction. A powerful growl escaped  my lips, and everyone cowered away, frightened by the sudden power in the room.
