Dinner drama

    I went to the kitchen as soon as I got back to the house, there I saw who I assumed is Elijah's mom sitting at the Island in the middle of the kitchen. "Hey you must be Alex, I'm Cahira" she came over to me and gave me a motherly hug that I very much enjoyed. " I heard you went to school today for the first time, how was it?" she backed up and gave me space. "It was nice, other then lunch everything was fine." shes just like our mom, "What happened at lunch?" concern laced in her voice. "there were some pack members that were unaware of my status, so when I sat in Elijah's spot I practically got attacked for being 'disrespectful' " finger quoting the word disrespectful. "But Em and the others helped push them away from the table." Her face twisted into a confused face, "Well, everyone was aware that Elijah found a mate," 'wait really??' Dawn sounded angry "Last week we made an announcement to the whole pack, so they were well aware"

    After our talk me and her took all of the food out to the dining room, I went to my spot and sat down. Elijah sat next to me and held my hand, we have to wait for the rest of the pack to come in from training before we start eating. First the females, including the bunch that were surrounding my mate this morning. They glared at me and made goo goo eyes at my mate, they made Dawn angry by existing. Next came the sweaty male teenagers and the adults, they seemed to be talking about a game that they were playing. "Get your asses in the shower and back down for dinner!" A man that looked like Noah, I'm guessing that its his brother, he didn't seem much older. 

    After everyone was back down for dinner the group of kids from lunch sat across from me and my mate, Em is next to me and Constance is next to Cahira, and the others are scattered around the room. There are literally like ten other tables and they chose to sit near me. It doesn't help knowing they knew they were disrespecting the future Luna. The conversations in the room were normal until "Hey Luna, we are sorry for what happened at lunch" the kid I slapped suddenly spoke up. As I was about to speak Elijah stepped in "What happened at lunch?" The kids face went a little pale while Noah almost choked on a drink of water, and then it hit, nobody told Elijah. 

    The silence afterwards was deadly, I looked at Constance and she looked from me to Em to Jen, they nodded her heads and all three of them stood. "Brother I need to take your mate for a bit." She spoke seriously while hurrying me to stand. "I sure Zander can tell you" she smiled as Zander seemed to tense. Elijah looked at Zander as he stared at us as we practically ran out of the room. "If you snooze you lose" Em said out loud causing us to burst into a fit of laughter. Growling and apologizing could be heard from the dining room. 

    Us four made our way outside and to the garden house, "Oh my goddess thank you" Jen praised to Constance "you saved us" Em cut in 'are you alright why'd Constance need you?' I blocked the link "He's trying to link me what should I tell him?" I said sitting on the couch "Tell him it is  girl code so you cant tell him" Em said simply, grabbing a chocolate bar from the cabinets. 'Sorry love, the girls need me for a while, it's girl code I cant tell you' I hide my laugh while the link is open 'ok doll I'll see you later, then we can talk'  with that he closed the link. Talk? what did he mean talk?

     "Wanna watch a movie?" Jennifer said out of nowhere. "sure, is there a TV in here?" I didn't think there would be a TV in a garden house. "Nope, I'm a witch" Jen mentioned, "but Noah doesn't know so please don't tell him" worry lacing her voice."I won't" I kinda feel bad that her own mate doesn't know the darkest secret she has, Elijah knows mine. For the next hour my mind went blank, I didn't watch the movie or pay attention to the conversations. I was stuck on the thought of my darkest secret, and if I should tell them or not. 'If you don't want to I could always tell them when the time is right ' I moved into a more comfortable position on the couch and rested my head on my hand. If I told them about m mom would they believe me? Or would they just neglect me for it. Fear hit my heart as I thought about my new friends leaving me. The thought of being alone again scared me, even with Eli I still feel alone.

    I looked over at the others to see they are sleeping and that the movie is over. I got up, waved away the illusion and  headed outside. The moon and stars were bright, but the thought of being alone is still poking at me. If they didn't like me would they say things to Elijah, or even Eli. I've never told Eli about why our old pack hated us so much, I told him it was because of our rank in the pack and they were just selfish, wait if Eli found out would he leave to.. My wings came out and wrapped around me. 

    The thoughts clouded my mind till a slight tap on my shoulder brought me out of it. "You ok?" It's Constance, "Yeah i'm ok" I wiped a stray tear off my cheek. "You sure" she sat by me in the grass "you were crying Alex" her concern obvious. "I was just thinking" She looked up at the stars, "I do that to, sometimes I get so lost in thought, the whole world disappears" she admitted while laying on my shoulder. I wrapped my wing around her to keep her warm because it's a little cold right now. "why are you out here?" I didn't even hear her come out of the house. "Elijah woke me up, he could feel your fear and sadness through the bond, he was worried so he asked if you were ok" Elijah, oh my god I forgot about that 'hey love' I linked him 'hey you ok I can feel your fear do you need me to come get you"  I smiled and relaxed at the sound of his voice 'no i'm ok'  I looked at Constance only to see her messing with my wings. "you having fun?" she jumped a little "jeez don't do that" she playfully pushed me "do what, you're messing with my wing, of course I was gonna say something." She laughed and side hugged me "Thanks for saving me from myself" I say out of the blue. "No problem what are sisters for" those words made my day better in an instant.
