"What accident?"

"I'm sorry," the voice whispered.

The phone slipped from her trembling hands.

"No..."

She stared at the floor, unable to breathe.

"This can't be happening."

Neighbors rushed inside after hearing her cries.

"What happened?"

"My family..."

She struggled to speak.

"They've been in an accident."

Within minutes, a neighbor drove her to the hospital.

The journey felt endless.

She prayed continuously.

"God, please let them be alive. Please don't take them away from me."

When they arrived, the hospital corridors were crowded with nurses, doctors, and anxious families.

She nodded.

She hugged them tightly despite the nurses trying to comfort her.

She sobbed.
