Emmey's pov

Next morning I was late for the office. As soon as the elevator stopped on the 8th floor I rushed towards my desk. Zoe was sitting right beside . He pointed his finger at a specific direction. As I followed his finger I saw a big watch showing 9:30 .

' As if I don't know. 'with the expression I rolled my eyes at him .After handling the enormous work pressure I managed some time to check the responses of my advertisement.

Yes , I put an advertisement for my spare room to find someone with whom I can share my apartment bills. It's too costly for a single person to live in a luxurious apartment like mine. I discussed the matter with John . He agreed as he was not coming back for sometime. So here I am finding a ' apartment mate' . But I could not check the details of the responses as my team leader handed me a bunch of files and asked me to go through it .My entire day was spent on those files as I had to go through it and make notes on it. After submitting those reports I was about to leave then a girl with a long straight hair ( I noticed her hair first. It was so beautiful. ) stopped me at the corridor . She was one of the new interns who joined the office two days ago.

" You are Emmey Jones ,right? Hi, I am Milly .You put a advertisement on the website for a ' apartment mate' "she showed me the advertisement on her phone and I nobbed my head saying 'yes'.

" I want to ask you for a favour. I am living at my friend's place for past few days but her roommate is going to arrive within two days so I was asked to vacate the place by tomorrow. Now I need to arrange an affordable place to live .So as I found this advertisement ,I came straight to you .And the rent is quite affordable .If the room is still available then I would like to share the apartment if you are Okey with it. " she finished it in one breath.

" Yes it's available . I put the advertisement only yesterday.I needed someone to share the apartment bills. When are you coming to stay ?"

" I will be there in the early morning." she hugged me with excitement.

' two problems are solved. Now I don't have to stay alone and secondly I don't have to worry about bills. yuppy! I didn't Thought that I would find someone so easily. ' I was thinking about all these stuffs on my way to home. Then suddenly I remembered that I had to go for shopping . we were given a notice about the party to celebrate the victory of Knight company and the dress code is red for girls and white for boys. And I did not have anything on red to wear for the party.

' Oh god I hate shopping . Now Sinna is not here to give me the best fashion advises . I guess it is going to be a disaster.agghh!!!

" Don't leave me papa. I will fall " a little girl was on a bicycle held his father's hand ,her eyes was full of tears as she feared to get injured.

" Don't worry .I will always catch you when ever you fall ." the young man patted his daughter's head gently.

She started riding the cycle after sometime she realised that she was left alone and cried out in fear then she heard a voice coming from a distance telling her " be strong my love. don't look back . Focus on your path. Nothing is greater than your will power . keep going . keep going .... " . The voice faded away slowly while repeating the last two words again and again.

My dream was broken by an annoying noise. I was dreaming about my father ,the moment I learnt to ride the cycle for the first time . My thoughts were interrupted by loud knock at the door and I heard someone is calling by my name.
