chapter 4 .

Emmey's pov

" Ahhh. Mammaaa close the curtains please . let me sleep for few more minutes." I started to plead keeping my eyes closed as light from the window was disturbing my sweet morning sleep.

"ha ha ha ha. Wake up mama's girl . you are no longer in your paradise. " John started to laugh loudly.

Hearing his voice I sat on the bed rubbing my eyes.John gave me a cup of coffee.

" you have to make your own coffee from tomorrow . I am leaving today. " John told me while taking a sip from his cup.

" You promised me to stay here and help me out and now you are leaving me all alone. How will I manage everything ? please stay here for 2 more days. " I requested him with a puppy face.

" My next assignment has been preponed . I don't have any option . I trust you emm . you are a strong independent girl . You don't need anybody to manage your staff." he tried to cheer me up.

" Now get ready otherwise you will be late on the very first day of your office. "

" Oh My God! Move your butt I have to rush . " I gulped rest of the coffee and rushed to the bathroom for a quick shower.

I selected a White shirt and a black trousers for the day . Arranging my stuffs in a file I standed in front of the mirror to check my appearance for the last time .

" You look perfect . But something is missing , what is that? ....yes , have you lost your dimples? " John started to tickle me . It's his old habit , he used to tickle me every now and then when we were children. In return I used to pinch him on his stomach .

" Stop it ,bro. I am getting late . I will be back as soon as possible. " bidding him goodbye I left for my new office.

I reached my destination before time. It was a huge building and fully designed by modern architecture.

I went to the reception for the information about the process of joining.

" You have to Wait for sometime . The papers are getting ready . Go straight and turn to your first right ,you will find the waiting room . you can wait over there ." the receptionist said .

I entered the waiting room and sat on the first chair I saw. I opened my file to recheck the paper for the last time .

" R you nervous ?"

I turned my head towards the source of the voice . I saw a tall guy standing near me .

" Hi , I am Zoe . Are you here for the Internship? " he stretched out his hand towards me .

" yes" I replied while shaking hands.

"cool . It will be a great fun . I heard that knight company hires their interns as a full-time employees. " he sounded quite confident.

After sometime we were called for the contract signing . After that we were introduced to our team . Zoe and I were selected in the same time .Our team leader introduced us to the other members of the teams . They gave a brief idea about the work .

All of a sudden the new interns and the employees were asked to go to the conference room for an urgent announcement.

I took a corner seat and Zoe sat beside me in the conference room.

After few minutes a handsome man entered the room . His dark blue eyes , backbrushed hair and his navy slim fit suits made his appearance too much attractive .

He looked around the room for a moment . All of a sudden his eyes were fixed on me .My heart started beating hundred times a minute . It was like his blue seductive eyes were penetrating my inner self . I lowered my eyes quickly but still I could feel that a pair of blue eyes were still staring at me .

The conference was about their next project . At the end of the meeting boss announced that the company was going to through a party to celebrate the victory of the company.

After the whole day work I reached my apartment at the evening. John was ready to leave.

" let's go . I will go with you to the airport . Give me 2 minutes . I will change quickly." I ran towards the room .

"emm ,emm. Listen to me. I have already booked a cab . you don't need to come . I have arranged everything for you . Have a cup of coffee and Listen to some music . bye. " he hugged me and kissed my forehead .

John left and now I am all alone in this huge apartment . I cooked some dinner for me as John set the kitchen property . As soon as I my head hit the bed ,I was out like a light.
