Mr Knight scooped me up in his broad arms and laid me on the bed. I was feeling cold so I pulled the quilt on me covering myself entirely.
He smiled a little and about to turn towards the door. Before he could take a step I held his wrist stopping him on his way as I wanted to talk to him.
I felt sorry as I only wrote a letter and demanded to call off the engagement.
