"You haven't forgotten our agreement, have you?” Zevian said to Ariel while looking back at her, putting so much trust in her.
Tristan murmured within himself, ‘i***t… An agreement? It was only verbal, nothing was signed. No one knows about it except the four of us.’
‘Sister’, Derek said to Ariel while still in a murmuring state. Let's not kill him. Yes, I might be cold, brutal and ruthless, but killing is out of it.
Have you forgotten how we really need to grow our business, our company is drowning in serious debt. If we don't find a new source of gold, the government will shut us down and that's the end for the Molson family, Ariel said to Derek while walking towards the location where Zevian has discovered the gold.
My father didn't do much work for his company before he died. Of course, you were brought from somewhere the dead can only answer. No one is stopping me on this.
‘Derek in his inner mind said’, you long lost daughter.
Ariel continued, this is going to be a massive profit for us all, our company will get more gold to mine and sell. Then much profit shall be ours.
‘She laughs majestically’.
Zevian looked back and said- Hope no problem, in a few minutes time, we shall reach the exact location.
As they walked through, they heard the sound of running water.
Zevian said, here we are- pointing towards the riverbank where he had seen the gold.
“Putting on a weird smile”, how many people knew about this, Ariel said.
Zevian replied, I am not that daft, absolutely no one knows about this. I came directly to the office when I had discovered it.
‘Pretending to get the exact spot’, Ariel said to Zevian, move forward and point out the location.
While he moved forward, Ariel bent down and grabbed a huge rock by the side of the river. Derek has no other choice but to keep quiet, and Tristan looks around to ensure no one is watching.
Before Zevian could turn, a huge rock was slammed on his head.
While still trying to survive, he fell into that same river.
What are you looking at, Ariel said to Derek, hold his leg… He is not surviving this.
Derek could not hold his leg. Tristan seized Zevian's legs to stop him from escaping while Ariel forced his head beneath the water, displaying a furious moment.
Zevian struggled violently for a few seconds before his movements slowed... then stopped.
Ariel’s clothes were soaked in mud, Tristan and Derek's clothes had a splash of the mud as well.
Derek stayed frozen, his breathing became uneven. He had covered up crimes before, but murder was different. He rushed into the car, Ariel and Tristan rushed as well and they drove off, leaving Zevian's dead body at the river side.

It's almost 6:30pm, everyone in the town is going back to their various destinations as the weekend is almost over.
What are we cooking tonight? Emily said to her mum and Blackwood ‘who was her elder brother’.
Popsi (Dad) is supposed to be back as well… He left for hunting in the morning, Emily said again.
On reaching home, the house was completely silent, no sign anyone was at home.
Popsi is not back yet, This is very strange of him.
Emily took a menacing step towards the dining table, she saw a white paper on the table with a pen on it, holding it from flying away by the wind.
‘I am going to the city for something important. It's regarding the mine. I will soon be around later in the evening’. Emily read it aloud.
Wait!! Dad came back home and went to the city… He is yet to be around, Blackwood said.
A few minutes later, the door slammed, opening loudly and two young men came in a hurry, breathing heavily…
The first man said, ‘i….it’s it's’, ‘he was pointing towards a direction’. He couldn't talk as his heart was beating faster. The second man said we saw Mr Haven’s body towards the end of the town near the riverbank.
Emily jumped up, saying who..who..se body?
Everyone rushed out and headed towards the riverside in a surprising state.
An ambulance had arrived, and every other community member was present, weeping, heartbroken… why so soon, the innocent ones die early.
Emily saw from afar while running, Two paramedics were carefully zipping Zevian's body into a black body bag before loading him into the ambulance, he was dead.
She sat on the floor, her hands trembling in her lap, tears dropping from her eyes..
This can't be happening, Emily said.
People spoke to her, but their voices sounded distant and hollowed. She stared at the dead body seriously without blinking. She wept bitterly.
Mrs Haven had fainted and Blackwood with some other members of the community had to rush to her.
Neighbours surrounded the Haven’s family, some crying openly. A struggling family now has no one as the head of the family to cater for their needs.
This isn't natural, Emily said while her eyes were red, full of tears… Blackwood said with a shaky voice, what isn't natural?
My father's death, she replied… Take a look at it, my father left for hunting in the morning, came back home and left us a message that he was going to the city.. Then we saw his dead body at the riverside..
How could this be possible? Emily said as she is trying to put the information together in her head.
I am going to the city for something important. It's regarding the mine….. Emily cuts the reading…. It's regarding the mine !!!, she said to herself in a loud voice.
Could this mean my father had gone to his place of work earlier this morning, Blackwood said to Emily. Exactly, she replied.
But this doesn't make sense, Mrs Haven said to both of them…… she continues crying.
If my husband truly went to the city earlier today, how could no one have seen him? How did his dead body end up at the river side? Mrs Haven said.
‘The neighbors then, continue consoling them’.
It's the next morning, very bright in the town of Beverly hills.
Andrew, a random community member passes through the river side where the incident happened yesterday…
He saw something on the floor, shining towards his eye, he bent down and grabbed the small earring.
Few out of many have this exact type of diamond earring… It could only mean something, he said to himself.
