''Come on guys!! Hurry up !! They are going to be here soon and I don't want to disappoint her'' I shouted from the kitchen while doing some last touch-ups on my cake for my baby.
''Chill Jane, everything is almost done. Relax babe'' Amelia burst through the kitchen door holding a cupcake.
''Ame, stop eating all the cupcakes'' I said while focusing on the cake.
''What, it is my first only.'' she gasped while putting her hand on her chest, showing me how offended she was.
''yeah right that's your fifth one'' Rose said while entering the kitchen carrying some paper bags. Ame rushed to her side to help her with the things.
''Were you keeping tabs on me, Rose? That's not good manners.'' Ame replied while putting the soda in the refrigerator.
I enjoy their banter.
