Once more, when my eyes opened, I was in an unfamiliar room. My head still throbbed softly but it was a dull ache compared to the pain before. As I sat up, I realized I was undressed. I was lying in only my underwear and I wasn't tucked into the blankets. The door opened and Xavier paused in the doorway. "You're awake." He walked over and handed me a shirt. "Here. I was in the middle of changing you." He sat on the bed as I pulled the shirt over my head. "You know if I wasn't so worried the sight of you in my bed might be enough to break me."
