"Xavier." I sighed and he shook his head softly. He leaned down to my ear. "Let me spoil you pet. You deserve it. You've been through a lot." He knew it was hard to argue when his reasons made sense. While we were locked in our battle of wills, the door to the place opened. Then Gina rushed over. "You're back!" She seemed so happy. "I picked out so many nice things. People like them too." I looked up as she joined her grandmother behind the case. Vicky nodded softly. "Yes, it would seem they are quite a hit among our older ladies and new clients." That made sense, of course. People with new money don't always feel like going crazy spending it all. Though that didn't always last. I looked over the case and spotted something. Vicky smiled as she opened the case and pulled out the earrings
