We finally arrived at a small office building. When we walked in, there was a burly-looking guard who nodded to us. Xavier pulled out a badge that he scanned to use the elevator, and we made our way up. "Added security until I can be sure Atticus or your father didn't follow Alan," Xavier said, and I nodded. That made sense, I guess. If they knew he was my new therapist, they might try something. When the door of the elevator opened to the large top floor, Nigel was sorting through boxes of files. He jumped in slight shock. "You're early." He said quickly as he put down the files he had been sorting. "We made good time in traffic," Xavier said as he glanced at his watch.
