GERVAIS I prayed for this not to be real, for everything to be a lie, but it seemed the moon goddess left on a holiday and wasn't back yet from the trip. Which made my prayers go unanswered. Seeing Rensa with those flowers broke me. I could do nothing but gape at her like a fool, not ready to accept what my eyes were seeing. ... I woke up before her this morning and went for a run.
