ÈMERIC I knew something was off. I felt it deep within me but thought it was nothing. I brushed it off as a feeling I got because of the impending doom of my people. Now that we had found the solution, a bigger problem had arisen. It would have been easier if this were to be a battle of wits or something like that. How the hell was I supposed to know if Rensa was my beloved? I sighed, running my hand through my hair, which was tousled from the number of times I ran my fingers through it. I was just tired. Point-blank exasperated by everything. If only I wasn't born an Alpha, I wouldn't have to shoulder all these responsibilities. My people are looking up to me to save them, and I have to. Though I don't even know how to go about it. This was the trickiest thing I'd ever encountered.
