DELPHINE POV I walked closer to him, unsure if I should be relieved to finally see him or angry that he had left me. He wasn’t smiling, not even a little, and that worried me. "Where have you been? "What are you doing here?" I asked, stepping closer until only a few inches separated us. His expression was serious, his eyes searching for mine like he was trying to see straight into my soul.
