Chapter 2: KAEL

Kael's POV

I'm of Welsh origin, and my parents are strong Christians and preachers of family bond and loyalty. Whatever you do or wherever you find yourself, family comes first, that's why we have a lot of family meetings and gatherings.

My parents moved to New York when I was a child, one of my aunts came out as a lesbian and my family couldn't face the church and the community they lived in, so they had to move miles away from where they are known and till today they are not in any form of communication with her family, my parents called her a disgrace and have grown up watching my parents hate for gay people, they warned us never to be friends with them or have any form of conversation with them.
