Stepping through the large metal doors, she enters the training room. Looking around, she saw the tatted-up men scattered across the room as they all turned their heads to her, scowling and glaring. Criminals, that’s what they all were, people who had committed unspeakable crimes and were physically able to kill. Walking over to the little station in the room, she grabbed some wraps beginning to wrap up her hands. After wrapping them, she started stretching out her body; she bent her body around multiple bones cracking as she did so. The center mat was cleared from anyone standing on it. Approaching one of the bags that were hanging in the room. Serenity closes into it and begins to take swings at the bag, making combination moves and rotating in kicks rotating through different actions to get her body warmed up. After about fifteen minutes of warming up, the doctors walked over to one of the criminals and motioned towards Serenity. This was it; it was time for the bag to go away and prepare to fight for real.
Her breath hitched slightly as she reached for the bag and held it in place for it to stop swinging. She stepped back as one of the guards then came over, taking away the bag as she then stepped onto the floor mat in the center of the room. It was cold on the bottom of her feet as she let out a sigh. She looked down and unwrapped her hands, and wrapped them again one at a time. Her first opponent approached the mat, and the others formed against the wall sitting down. The doctors stepped out of the room and entered the viewing room in a protected area right next to the training room where they could watch everything happening. Everyone's eyes went towards them as the man reached out his hand in acknowledgment that one of us would die here. Her hand took his extended hand, and then their hands released, and not long after, the alarm rang to begin.
Everything seemed to move into slow motion as his hand pulled back and swung straight towards her face; she took a breath and sidestepped, dodging the blow. The man's reaction moved his other hand to strike at her face again. This time she squatted down to the ground avoiding the blow with ease, and then she lunged forward, turning her body slightly, bending her arm, impaling his stomach with her elbow. He folded up partly and fell back, sliding against the floor and slamming into the wall. Her body instinctively pushed itself up and flipped in a twisting motion as she landed on her feet elegantly and stared at the man who was trying to get himself up. The doctor banged on their room's glass window, which connected them to the room she was in, signaling for her to not dawdle and just end this. She swallowed deeply and began walking towards the man calmly as she stared at him as we squirmed on the ground; he had already coughed up a decent amount of blood from the attack she had blown to his ribcage, which from what she could tell, had snapped and penetrated his lungs. Even if she didn’t finish him now, he would surely die within the next 20 min. “Allow me to help put you out of your misery.” Her voice spoke out in the room as her hands reached out, grabbing onto his head before quickly jerking his head, the loud cracking of his neck echoed through the silent room. She let go of him and stepped back as the guards came over, collecting his body and throwing it down the shoot in the room as she made her way back to the center of the mat. The doctors motioned for the next guy to step up onto the mat. Her eyes scanned the room, looking at all the other people as it finally clicked. She would be fighting everyone in this room, one out of ten down nine to go. She sighed as this was going to be a while.
What seemed like an eternity finally ended; her hair, skin, clothes, and face had dried blood and fresh blood on them. Half of her face had been drenched in blood, but none of it was hers; she hadn’t even shed a single drop of blood. The guards then began to escort her down the hallway back to her room. Finally, the long day was over; her body was weak, and she was exhausted. Her room door was opened as the guards pushed her inside as she must’ve been moving too slowly for their taste. They slammed the door behind her locking it up; at this point, she was too exhausted to care as she trudged over to her bathroom. She closed the bathroom door behind her and turned on the shower, and began stripping off her blood ridden clothes as; she sighed as she stepped into the shower and her body gave out, and she collapsed to the tub's floor as she let the water rush over her, and she reached up grabbing the bar of soap and washcloth. She washed her body and rinsed off as she stepped out of the shower and dried off and slipped on her nightgown, walking out the pitch-dark room navigating her way to her bed easily as she sat down and curled up into bed, falling into a deep slumber.
