The Beginning

2112, January 27th, Meals

His eyes had locked with hers as she looked at him with her red eyes that looked dulled over but when they locked with his confusion flashed across her face. They kept eye contact until she was nudged to exit and she broke the contact and walked out the door. “Yo dude what the hell just happened?” Michael noticed the tear. “also dude are you okay?” Acheron looked at him in confusion and the moved his hand across his cheek whipping the tear off. When did he begin crying? He asked himself. “yeah dude I’m fine and yeah I don’t understand what just happened before us.” Acherons eyes wandered over his class mates as most of the girls looked like their lives had flashed before their eyes and that they were going to be sick. Majority of the guys just whispered about what they just witnessed. Someone cleared their throat and Acheron turned his attention back to where it had came from which not to his surprise had come from Max. “What you just witnessed is what you are studying.” He spoke and someone piped in. “the act of killing?” one of the males in the class asked. “no the woman or whatever you’d like to call her who did the killing. She been subjected to experimentation for quite some time. Her body had mutations in it which gave her none human like characteristics. When it was discovered she was transported here and has been undergoing these for quite a while.” Max said as everyone in the class room just stood there quietly not really knowing what else to say until Max broke the silence. “your teachers will take you to your classrooms to tell you about your course schedule and so forth from here on out. You will be required to partake for 6months but any of those who wish to extend their stay may do so and if you choosee too you will housed and fed still and will receive some sort of wage for continuing to stay and partake.” He said before he crossed to the other side of the room and exited through a door. “alright everybody lets all come this way and head to the class rooms.” Mr. Johnson had spoken up and Mrs. Johnson who was another teacher at the school and Mr. Johnson’s wife took the back of the group and we all began making our way to the class room with these thoughts spinning in our heads.

The made it to our class room as they all began picking seats realizing they had extra seats in the back row of the room. Acheron and Michel decided to take 2 of the 5 seats in the back row and they sat their chatting until the teachers cleared their throats and began going over how there were rooms that are restricted to everyone and no one is allowed to enter them. Normal classes will be held tomorrow and then our schedules of classes and our extra studying will start the following day. We will have classes and the examining Monday through Friday. Saturday will be used for homework from the week and meeting with the scientists and Sundays will be completely free days. Which wasn’t all that bad in the long run. Max came walking in with a box and spoke. “all electronics will be held by us you there’s land phones you can use to talk to your family on Sundays but your conversations will be monitored as you all signed a confidentiality form before winning this once in a life time experience. We have a movie room set up for you to watch movies on all streaming sites but nothing else will be accessible.” He stated as he walked out with everyone’s cellphones, laptops, and tablets. There was grumbling going throughout the room at this no one really having realized this would be like this.

Soon a few hours had passed and then we all exited the classroom heading to the cafeteria for supper. We all made it there and went in lines to get out food and we all soon filled up the lunch tables chatting and beginning to eat. Max came walking in and approached the lunch ladies and got a good tray from them and set it down in the back of the lunchroom standing at the end of the table next to where he set it down as we heard the doors to the lunch room bang open and we all turned our gazes to it.

Serenity scrubbed at her body and washed for what seemed like hours until the water that was in the bottom of the shower was as clear as could be. She stepped out drying off her body and her hair. She went into her dressed and pulled out a clean pair of clothes and put on her shoes as her long black hair fell around her shoulder as she heard the doo open and she stepped back. She looks up at one of the guard with her brow arched having expected supper to be coming in. “lets go” the man spoke and motioned for her to go out the door. “go where?” serenity asked questioning. “you won’t be eating in your room for the time being so let’s go shall we?” Clearly starting to get a bit annoyed and she stepped forward and walked past him when she felt something around her neck and a clicking sound, and she touched the metal collar around her neck. “w..what is this for?!” serenity stammered. “just in case don’t think anything of it now let’s go.” He started brushing past her, and she followed him looking around. Soon they came to a pair of double doors and entered; her eyes went wide seeing all the people watching her earlier as she froze in where she stood.

Everyone’s eyes went wide as they stared in disbelief that the girl they had just watched kill three guys like it was nothing was now walking right into the cafeteria. Asher on eyes looked at her confused as he watched Alex escort her in, and she froze in the spot she stood at starting at them as Alex has continued walking a bit more past her anf he stopped turning towards her. “come on, let’s go” he spoke she just stood there. “I said let’s g,o,” his tone growing harsher. Her mouth moved,d but it wasn’t loud enough for us to here. “no you will be eating here starting now let’s go this is your last wanting.” She continued to stand there and Alex reached into his pants pocket grabbing a remote pointing it at her before a bone shaking shriek of pain cut through the room.

Serenity screamed as she gripped the collar as it sent shocks of pain through her body as she went down to her knees before the pain stopped coming through. “there that’s what this collar is for now let’s go.” He began walking closer to where one of the other body guard was and he stood next to him as serenity forced her body up as he legs wobbled a bit and she stumbled over a bit and walked to them and she sat down in front of the tray of food and picked up the fork keeping her head bent down towards her tray.
