–––––––– Ellie woke and she had to pee. Bad. She shoved the covers down and got out of bed, stumbling through the dark bedroom. “Ouch.” She grabbed her foot, hopping in place. She’d stepped on Adrian’s belt buckle. The curtains were closed in the bedroom, but faint moonlight filtered in from the large window in the living room. She kicked the pants aside and made her way out of the room. Last time, she’d been here she’d used the bathroom in his bedroom but there had to be another one. She wasn’t risking her toes any more than she had to. She stopped in the living room, looking around. She hadn’t paid too much attention to the place on Christmas. It was a typical apartment. Kitchen. Living room. Balcony and two closed doors. One of them had to be a bathroom. She took a step and hesitate
