SAM's gaze burned into the computer screen, his eyes locked in an intense stare, regret gnawing at him as he engaged in this fateful conversation with Mael. "Don't you dare give me that look," Mael shot back, his defiance laced with a dangerous edge. "You and Ila have been playing house, forgetting about the psychotic ex-father-in-law who wants her and Sky dead as if it were yesterday." Sam had to grudgingly admit that Mael possessed a unique talent for talking crap and getting away with it. Sam leaned forward, his voice dripping with skepticism, "And your grand plan is to fly here. And then what?" He considered momentarily turning on his charismatic charm, but quickly dismissed the idea; But that wasn't his style.
