His little Star

Chapter 10

Sammy P.O.V.

  It has been amazing the last two days. Star found her mate and is now our Lunar Queen, which is higher than a regular Luna Queen. I have never seen her this happy and she’s naturally a happy person. When Max and her walked in I could tell that their scents were different. When they got to the table both Katy and I noticed their marks and got really excited. When they sat down Katy blurted out that their scents had mixed together. Star was so embarrassed that she hid her face in Max’s chest. I chuckled under my breath at her actions then when I looked at them again I noticed that Max’s eyes glazed over so I knew that they were linking each other. It was a little fun seeing Max slowly start to smile as they linked. Star’s mother got their attention interrupting their conversion with each other. 

‘Mat look at how happy he makes our Star. I know that you were worried that he would not love her to take care of her.’ -Me

‘I see it but I don’t fully trust him with my baby sister.’ -Mat

‘I know that baby but we have to trust her. We both know she can handle herself. She’s always been a strong fighter and leader. I know you have seen her protect herself growing up with you always by her side but you need to let her do this on her own.’ -Me

‘Your right. I just want what's best for her. I’ve been her protector since I found out my mother was pregnant.’ -Mat

‘I you do.’ -Me

  After talking with Mat I got him to relax and enjoy his time with his baby sister. Once we were all done eating we headed outside to the big open space behind the castle. “This is where we  hold all of our main pack parties. We only hold them inside when the weather will not allow us to or when it’s something formal” Max’s mother Rose told all of us. May, Mat and Star’s mother, started to get really happy about this space and I could not figure out why. “This is the perfect place to hold the BBQ and bonfire tonight.” Katy said. I didn’t know that we were doing that tonight. ‘You were talking with Mat when they were talking about it.’ my wolf Kayla told me while laughing. 

  “We will have to have both packs help set everything up” Ben told everyone. “Why do we need so many people to help set up?” I asked. “Because the Stone pack has 6,500 people and the Sky pack has 2300 in it. So we need the help.” Martin informed me. I was shocked at how many people would be here so all i could say was oh. Star came over and gave me a side hug and just laughed at my reaction to the information. We called both packs and put them into groups and gave each group a task to do. It was great to see both packs work together to get everything set up. There was no problem from any group; they all worked as if they were one pack.

Star P.O.V.

  I watched as my home pack and new pack work so well together getting ready for the party. Max led me up to our room while everyone was working. I asked him why we weren't  helping them. He told me this for me so I get to relax and be surprised at what they put together. Then he turned and went into the bathroom and I heard the water start running so laid back on the bed waiting for him. When he came back out he helped me up and led me into the bathroom. Once I saw that there was a bath ran for me I smiled and gave him a kiss. Max undressed me then himself and put us both into the bath. I was laying with my head on his chest as he talked about ourselves to get to know each other. 

  His favorite color Is dark blue while mine is gold. I learned what his favorite places to go and do are. We compared the way we had grown up and they really aren't that different. He was raised to learn how to lead a pack and kingdom, while I was taught in the ways of a  Luna. We stayed like that for a while before lifted us out of the bath and drying us off. He carried me into the closest so that we could get dressed for the BBQ. I put on a baby blue tank top and some jean shorts, Max was in a white tank top and basketball shorts. He grabbed one of his hoodies and I asked him why. “If you get cold I put it on you Meine Liebe (my love)” he said. I looked at him and said “Oh, you know I love when you speak to me in German by the way. C’est beau venant de toi. (It’s beautiful coming from you.) “You can speak French? What else can you speak?” Max asked me, confused. I laughed at him and told him. “Speak French, English, Italian, and Russian. I do know that you are speaking German but I do not know how to speak it myself.”

Max P.O.V.

‘Wow are mate is beautiful’ -Chris

‘I know man. I could look at her all day’ -Max

‘Me too’ -Chris

  We went down to the party and she was surprised with the way everything looked. I led her over to our families to talk with them. After a few minutes all the girls headed to get food and something to drink while us guys picked a table and sat down still talking. I really like Mat, Rick and the rest of the guys in the group. I can see why Star didn’t want to leave home now. ‘We’ll have to make sure that our packs get together often. That will keep our mate happy’ Chris tells me. “How would you guys like to get together every so often so that Star can still see you guys when asked?” “I think that a great idea. I know Star would love that.” Cameron answered. “Let’s keep this to us so that way we can surprise her the first time. Then we can tell her.” said Ben. Ben and Cameron may not be her blood family but I can see why she loves them non the less. 

  We see all the girls coming back with food and a few pack members to help them. One of my warriors has a cooler in his hands and brings it over to our table. After saying thank you to all of them we start to eat. I watch as everyone is happy together. I felt Star sit on my lap and then looked at me. “Come dance with me?” pleads with me. “Of course Prinzessin (princess).” We got up and I kissed her forehead then led her over to the bonfire. We all spent the night having fun and getting to know each other. 

Third person P.O.V.

  The backyard was slowly coming together. There were people everywhere. A BBQ area was set up with 20 grills and several tables to serve on. Then picnic tables were scattered around the clearing. The group in charge of making the bonfire had a huge amount of wood stacked together in the pit ready to go. There were coolers scattered all over the place filled with ice and drinks. Over by the BBQ station there was a bar set up as will. They left a big area around the firepit for people to dance and hang out. Fairy lights were hung all over the place making it look magical. The DJ was set up on a stage by the back door of the castle.

  By the time everything was set up it was already time to start to party. Everyone was having a great time with each other and the packs mingled with each other. They were all having a good time, Star thought this was a good way to say good-bye to her home pack and hello to her new one. They had a good time but little sis they know that there was someone watching them from the dark.
