His little Star

Chapter 8

May P.O.V.

  Watching my baby Star take the throne was a sad and happy moment for me and our pack. I could feel her leaving the pack, as everyone of us could. The power rotating off of her is amazing I thought when she got Dakota she was strong but she is much more now. When she sat on the throne itself everyone dowse as our pack howled to her. After the ceremony there was a huge party in Star and Max’s honor. At the party all of the Sky pack walked up in front of everyone and said “We pledge our lives to you, our Lunar Queen and King.” With that said we all dropped to one knee and howled. As we did this everyone else followed our motion.

‘I am so proud of you Star. The whole pack is so honored that you and Dakota came from us.’ -Me

‘Thank you mom. I promise to use everything I learned from you growing to help lead our people. I will always look up to you.’ -Star

  The party lasted well into the night with all the music and dancing. “Your pack is to stay a few more days here with us. So that you can properly say goodbye to Star.” Max told Rick and me. “It will be an honor to stay here with you’ll” Rick said. “Then it’s settled you are going to stay 2 more days here in the castle” Max said. Gave him a hug and he hugged me back then shook Rick's hand. I couldn’t help smiling as Star and Max started to dance in the middle of the dance floor for the time as King and Queen. My wolf Maya is scratching to get me to talk to her so I let the wall down between us.

‘Look at our little Star. She is so grown up now.’ -Maya

‘That see is Maya. I couldn’t be happier for her.’ -Me

‘Our baby is following her destiny.’ -Maya

‘What do you mean? Maya have you been hiding this from me this whole time?’ -Me

‘I have known that Dakota was Star’s wolf since the day she was born. That night Luna herself came to me and made me promise that I would not say anything but help teach and prepare her for this.’ -Maya

‘So that is why you always pushed me to teach her everything I know.’ -Me

‘Yes May it is. She will be the best Queen Luna we have ever had. Her being the Lunar Queen is because Dakota is Luna’s daughter.’ -Maya

‘What do you mean?’ -Me

‘I mean the reason Star is so special because she is Lunas. Luna hid her when you were pregnant which is why you thought she was a boy. Somehow Mat knew she wasn’t.’ -Maya 

‘Mat always said he wished on the stars for a sister. Was she answering Mat giving her to him, could that be why he knew?’ -Me

‘I’m not sure but we can be proud that his prayers are answered. Just look how happy she is and how his shines when he looks at her when she’s happy.’ -Maya

‘I do see Maya, I do. She will always be special.’ -Me

Star P.O.V.

  I was standing with Mat, Sammy, and Katy. When I saw Max walk over and talk with my parents. What he said to them made them happy because my mother was smiling and hugging him. I turned back to the group and was shocked that I hadn’t seen Ben and his make Ella joined us. When we pulled up last night and were dancing Ella came right up to him and threw her arms around him. At that moment we all knew they were mates. “So how does it feel to be a Queen little sis” asked Mat. “I don’t really feel too different. The only thing that does feel different is that there is more power. But not much because I have Dakota as part of me.” Right after I told them that I felt strong arms go around my waist and a kiss on my neck. Knowing it was Maxi spun around and gave him a kiss. He was shocked at first but kissed me back after a moment. We got awes from people around us but my friend told us to get a room. We just chuckled and he kissed me again just to mess with them.

  “Dance with me my Queen.” Max said  “For a kiss I will. My King.” I told him. With that he kissed me deeply. Then he took me to the middle of the dance floor. As we started to dance everyone cleared the floor making a big circle for us to dance in. Half way through the song both Max’s and my parents joined us in the circle. After the song was over everyone else went back to dancing. We danced for a few more songs before my father cut in to dance with me. After 2 songs Mat cut in then after 1 song Max’s father cut in.

  “I am glad that my son found you. I have never seen that big of a smile on his face since he was a young child.” he said. “I’m glad that even though I have to leave my home pack it is for him and not some other snobby upper class from a different pack. To be honest I never wanted to leave my pack and always prayed that my brothers Beta or Delta was my mate.” I told him. He gave me a smile and told me he understands. I danced with him for a few more songs before I needed to sit down so he walked me to my throne and kissed my hand before he walked away.

‘Dakota, can I ask you something?’ -S

‘Anything sweetheart.’ -D

‘What was it like when you were a princess?’ -S

‘Well it was much different from this. Like the castle at the time was only a little bigger than the pack house back home.’ -D

‘Do you think we will be a good Queen Luna?’ -S

‘Star we are a Lunar Queen. We are natural born leaders. Plus you always have me with you when you feel down.’ -D

‘Thank you Dakota’ -S

  I was so engrossed in talking to Dakota that it scared me when Max touched my shoulder. “I’m sorry baby I thought you saw me come to you.’ He said. “It’s okay I wasn’t paying attention to what's happening around me.” “What was distracting you?” He asked me. “I was talking with Dakota that’s all.” He pulled me up and gave me a kiss. Then said “It’s head up to the room.” “What about the rest of the party?” “My parents will handle that. They're the ones who suggested that we head up.” “Okay, let’s go but let me say goodnight to my parents.” He smiled and led me to both of our parents. They happened to be together so we told them goodnight and headed up stairs for the night.
