Chapter 11

****Jumping to wolf's****

Dakota P.O.V.

   I'm the Moon Goddess Luna's only daughter and am the first werewolf princess. This makes me the Lunar princess. I have seen the start of the werewolves up to the time that my family was removed. Mother has sent me to be the wolf of the first female of my family to be born since me. I've been waiting for Star to come of age for so long and know we're minutes away. She's starting to shift and I wish I could take away some of her pain. We're shifting faster than most people do for their first time. Star is trying to get her bearings in my form, I give her a few minutes to adjust.

'Hello Star I'm Dakota your wolf'

'Nice to meet you Dakota. I'm happy to meet you.' -S 

'Oh sweetie I'm happy to finally be able to speak to you.’ -D

‘Have you always been with me? I thought we wouldn't get our wolves till we shift.’ -S

‘Yes I have always been with you. Normal wolfs get then at their first shift but I have always been with you.’ -D

‘Okay then I’m happy to finally beagle to see you.’ -S

‘We must always follow our heart and not always what is being said to us' -D

'What do you mean by that?' -S

'Just promise me that you will' -D

'I promise Dakota' -S

'What do we look like?' -S

'Go look in the pond silly' -D

  She walks over to the pond and gets lost at what we look like. She thinks I'm beautiful and it makes me proud to have her as my other half. I'm ready to run so I turn us to the pack and signal it time to run. Everyone shifted and we took off. I was playing with Jacks for the first time out in our true form. You see I've always been able to talk to him and he is mine and Star's protector.

'Jakes! I'm so happy to finally play and not just sit and talk.' -D 

'Dakota! Finally we can run. How does it feel to be out with the rest of us.' -J

'It's amazing. It's been so long since I have been down here.' -D

'Are we going to reveal who you are and what we can do?' -J

'Not yet. They need to learn for themselves. We can't push them into it.' -D

'Okay Dakota. Let's play!' -J

  After a few hours of play we finally head back To the pack house. This time I helped Star shift quickly. I forgot to tell her that she will have a white dress on after we change back. Once everyone sees this I start to panic. 'Jacks help!' As soon as he heard he we were being pulled into the house by Mat. I let him lead us to Martin's office. I then hear Mat talking about me being the first werewolf princess. 

'Jacks I said not yet.' -D 

'I'm sorry I needed to. It was the only way I could get him to bring you guys in. You know it's my duty to protect you.' -J

'I know. I see why you did it, but no more just telling they have to figure most of it out. It's the only way to get them to fulfill their destiny.' -D

'Yes my princess.' -J

   I can feel how nervous Star is getting with all the information that she is being given. I wait for her to hear everything from them. They are able to help her with some of what we are. I know that there will be many questions and all I can do is answer them as she asked. 

  I feel bad for Star when she realizes that Ben nor Cameron are not our mate. I do what I can to help her but I know when we find him she will feel amazing and not question why he's our mate. We're finally heading to the palace and I can't wait to see how much it has changed. The closer we get I start to feel a buzzing and it's getting me excited. As Star's gets out of the car I smell the most amazing smell in the world. I follow the Watermelon and Mango scent all the way to the ballroom. We scan the room and then Star and Him lock eyes. I instantly reach out to his wolf.

'Hello in Dakota'

'What a beautiful name I'm Christian but you can call me Chris' 

'You need to know that we are special and I'm putting my trust in you to protect us.' -D

'I will lay my life down for you.' -C

'I'm holding you to that.' -D

  After I talk with Chris I feel that I can trust him with our secrets. I noticed that Star is starting to fall for her mate Maximus or Max. I insured her that we can trust him and remained her to follow her heart and not always what she's told. Over the next few days I spend more time with Chis and completely fall for him. I thank my mother for her choice as my other half. 

Christian P.O.V.

   I'm the wolf of Prince Maximus Stone. I'm proud to have him as my human half. He is very loyal to his family, pack and the kingdom. We have yet to find our mate and I’ve wanted my mate for three years now. I have pleaded with the moon goddess Luna to brining me my mate. I see other wolves with their mates and long for mine. Queen Rose has made it final that this year we have to pick a mate if we don’t find her at the ball on Wednesday. I don’t want a chosen mate. I want my true mate but I understand that Max needs to take over the kingdom and to that he has to have a Queen by his side. We both have been trying to avoid getting ready for the ball and the crowning. We've been doing a good job of hiding from Queen Rose until earlier today when she found us in the gym. Now we're helping with the setup of the ball.

  It's time for the ball and we head to the ballroom to great people and look for our mate. After about six packs arrive I start to feel a pull. The pull is making me anchoes and I start to pace. Max finally had to tell me to stop because I was giving him a migraine. When the next pack arrives I start to smell of roses and mint. Max starts looking around the room until we find her. “Mate, Mate.” I start yelling at him. He starts to walk towards her then someone gets in front of her. I was trying to fight Max for control to get to my mate. Then I feel her wolf reach out to talk to me. Just her voice is calming me down. We talk for a while while our humans meet. 

  I plugged my life to my Sweet Dakota. I could feel the power coming off of her when they entered the room and I know why. The whole time Max and Star are moving around the ballroom Dakota and I bond with each other. When the ball starts to dye down is when I finally pay action to what's going on around us. ‘We can't let mate leave. They need to stay, we have the room.’ I tell Max. He agrees with me and invites our mate and her family to stay with us. The Star asked about her pack staying. ‘We have to let them. Look how happy it would make her. She cares so much for her pack.’ ‘I know man let me handle it.’ Max snapped at me. 

  During the crowing I feel the power that we have over the other wolves and feel honored that they trust us to lead them. When Star and Dakota take the title as Queen I see the power grow in her and am amazed at how beautiful she is with that glow to her. Once were sworn in I heard people pledge allegiance to us. After the party we finally take our mate to bed with us. When I hear them ask for us to mark and mate with them I get excited and want to take control but Max is holding me at bay. When we were done mating I felt an innocent rush of power come over to us and I'm confused as to where it came from.

‘Chris, me are mated now we are one.’ -D

‘What do you mean love?’ -C

‘As I am the Lunar Queen you are now the Lunar King.’ -D

‘Oh, well my Queen it is an honor to be your King.’ -C
