Chapter 7

Star P.O.V.

  I don’t know who to react to this morning. There are people running in and out of my room. Max was nice enough  to let my whole pack stay in the castle for the next few days. Right now I have at least 6 people helping get ready for the crowning. This is all making my head spin but in a good way I guess. The Queen brought a beautiful gold ball gown for me to wear and she said  “Star I love you to wear this dress. It was the dress I wore for my crowning. I wanted to give it to my daughter one day but I only had Max.” “I would be honored to do it.” I said with a smile and tears in my eyes. I can’t believe how much the Queen has taken to me in just a short time. 

  I am in the most beautiful dress I have ever had with the jewelry from my family. My make is done soft gold and blue. My hair is in a beautiful half up curled style with gold and blue throughout it. Once I was ready to go my father and Mat walked me to the throne room where everyone was waiting. The closer we got the more I got nervous. Mat synched this and gave hand a squeeze. I calmed down a little with my brother's restaurants.

‘Dakota do you think we are doing the right thing right now? My heart is telling me yes but my mind keeps going to the fact that our bloodline went into hiding.’ -S

‘Star if you feel that we are then we are. We will have to stay on alert for the fact our bloodline did hide. We will also give Max a chance to help protect us also.’ -D

‘He still does have to gain our full trust for us to let him fully in.’ -S

  Talking to Dakota gives my mood a boost about us walking to our future. Mat and my father have finally got to Max at the front of the room where the ceremony will take place for us to become King and Queen. ‘Relax sis you can do this. I Know you can’ Sammy linked me when Max took my hand from my father Mat. I took Max’s hand and smiled up at him and he returned the smile.

The Ceremony

  “Ladies and gentlemen we are here to crown Maximus Stone and Star Sky as our new King and Queen. Can you all step forward?” Elder Nicholes said. He First cut  Alpha King Martin’s hand then did the same to Maximus. After the both grabbed hands the Elder started. “Do you Marin Stone pass the crown and the power of King Alpha over Maximus Stone?” “ I do,” said Martin. Then Nicholes turned to Max and said. “Do you Maximus Stone accept the crown and power as King Alpha. Do you promise to look after and protect your people and your pack to the best of your ability?” “I do,” Maximus said. Then he felt the power shift over to him and everyone attendance bowed to him. After that he turned and Luna Queen May’s hand. He took Star’s hand cut hers as well.” May Stone pass over the crown and power of Luna Queen?” he asked May. “I do,” she said then he turned to Star.” Do you Star Sky accept the role as Luna Queen and the crown? Do you promise to care for you people like a  mother does her own kids? Do you promise to promise to protect you after your pack and people to the best of your ability?” He asked her.” “I do” was Star’s answer. Then May and Star take hand and Star feels the power change. “Ladies and gentlemen I present to you your Alpha King Maximus Stone and your Luna Queen Star Sky.” Said Elder Nicholes bowed and the rest of the room followed suit.

  “Long live Alpha King Maximus and Luna Queen Star” was heard throughout the room. Marin and May placed the crowns on Maximus and Sky. Then they stepped off the stage. Sky and Maximus headed up to the thrones and sat for the first time. Everyone shared and clapped for them.

Maximus P.O.V.

   I woke up with a smile on my face knowing that I found my mate. I’m no longer dreading the crown ceremony. I was ready way before I had to be, I’m wearing a gold and blue ceremony suite. I’ve been sitting in my room watching the clock for the time I need to head to the throne room. My nerves and emotions were all over the place.

‘Max chill bro. You're starting to annoy me.’ -Chris

‘Man I’m just scared she’ll not want to be my queen.’ -Max

‘I talked to Dakota last night and they both want to be queen’ -Chris 

‘Wait you talked to Dakota already?’ -Max

‘Yes. Dakota reached out to me at the ball and talked to me sense then. I know normally unmated wolves can’t talk to one another wolves but their special Max.’ -Chris

‘I felt that the moment I set eyes on her last night.’ -Max

‘I don’t mean as the mate’s pull special. I mean as in special like we need to protect her not just because she is our mate’ -Chris

‘I’ll protect her with my life. I never want any harm to come to her.’ -Max

‘All can do it try’ -Chris

  After chatting with Chris the time flu by and it now time for me to head to the throne room. I walk up to Elder Nicholas, my mother and father. Then I started to smell roses and mint started to get stronger and now Star was on her way. Her father and brother are walking her to the stage for the ceremony. Elder Nicholas performed the crowning and power transfer from parents to Star and me. When it was done we walked to the thrones and sat for our first time as King and Queen. The whole room burst out in cheers for us. I was lost in looking at Star. That they all seemed like they were far away from us. Star turned toward me and smiled so I smiled back and kissed her. The whole room let out and aww and I watched as Star turned the prettiest shade of red.
