MINE (Fang P.O.V)

"why are you making me go to some stupid pep rally? we have the alphas ball tomorrow remember?"

I say frustrated at my father for making me go to something so pointless. "son i understand you are frustrated but..." he pauses and sighs and puts his hand on my shoulder and looks me in my eyes I give him a questioning look "look fang...I need you to go to this pack and check on a girl for me...I've heard rumors shes being mistreated and you know how I am I cant turn a blind eye to these things...shes from the moon reaper pack her name is Elena.please fang just see if the rumors are true and you can come right back" thinking for a minute i look him back in the eyes "alright but what should I do if she is?" I ask him "you bring her back with you" he states very clearly so I nod and turn to head to the school its about a 45 min drive so ill get there about 5 min till there lunch as im driving I start flipping through the radio channels and finally land on something tolerable. well at least I don't have to go to school today I think to myself and roll the window down to enjoy the breeze of the fall air and zone out will driving and remembering the girls name im suppose to check on "Elena" I say out loud as if reminding myself.

as I pull into the schools parking I see and open parking spot near the front of the school so I pull in there. I look at the clock on my dash and its about 8 min till their pep rally, I got here a few min earlier than expected so I walked in and start heading to the office.when I walk into the office I see a blonde girl sitting in the waiting area and a older lady sitting behind the counter with way to much makeup on so I decide to ask her about this Elena girl "excuse me im looking for a girl named Elena can you help me?" the lady looks up at me with a questionable look and says "why are you looking for her??" just then the girl behind me chirps in "the last time I saw her she was in the gym..but what is a handsome wolf like you looking for a weakling like her for?" I scowled at the blonde girl who you could clearly tell was a pack slut "thanks, but thats none of your business" I said with a low growl and saw the girl cower slightly and my use of alpha tone and smirk as I walk out of the office and towards there gym luckily I have been here before so i know my way around a little as I get closer to the gym I start to smell blood and wonder if there's been fight recently down here but then it hits me even harder ....no this is fresh blood and alot of it. I start running in the direction of the gym cause thats where this strong smell of blood is coming from and burst through the doors and thats when it all hits me at once. the smell of blood and cinnamon apples wafts from the other side of the room. at first im taken aback but the second I realized there's a girl on the floor in a pool of blood and she's not just any girl shes MY MATE, I quickly run over and scoop her up into my arms and beg her to wake up "hey,wake up!! please wake up?!" before I realize tears are running down my face and im thinking I don't even know your name you can't die on me! I begin tapping her face trying to get some response and notice the ladder is tipped over she must've fallen i stand with her in my arms and turn on my heal and begin running to my car but my pack is to far she won't make it who knows how long she's been like this. if I speed i can make it to my pack within 20 min but..just then I heard her groan in my arms shes still alive good I decide to go to my pack house and gently set her in my back seat and jump in the driver's side and race to my pack house I made it there in 15 min going 120 mph. my dad runs outside when I hopped out of the car "Fang!? whats wrong? why are you back so early!?" I throw my back door open and my dad gasps at the sight of her "thats her" he says I grab her out of the backseat gently and start carrying her inside not really registering what my father said and rush her to the pack doctor with my dad right on my heels. "alpha,fang" she says as we enter and then sees the state of the girl im holding "put her on the table" she says as she starts grabbing various things and a pair of gloves and quickly rushes to my mates side "what happened?" she asks me without looking at me and continues examining the girl. "I found her like this it looks like she fell off a ladder" I say "please save her doc.....shes my mate" I add in a low whisper but everyone in the room heard me and froze the doc nodded and her attention flew back to my mate and I felt a hand on my shoulder "I think she'll be ok son" my dad says softly from behind me but I don't budge "come to my office after shes stable I need to speak with you" I nod but I don't take my eyes off her I take in everything about her that I can see she looks so small and frail about 5'2 maybe she's wearing baggy clothes so I cant tell how small she really is she has pale delicate skin and dark pitch black silky wavy hair that she pulled back into a loose ponytail and plump peach colored lips her eyelashes a long and dark like her hair how I wish you'd open your eyes so I can see them. ".....ang....fang?" just then I realize doc is talking to me so I look up at her "hmm? yes??" " I was saying shes going to be alright after I give her some fluids through an IV she lost quite a bit of blood but not enough to do alot of damage she should be awake in a few hours and once she is shes going to need food shes extremly malnourished" she states "ok thanks doc" I let out a sigh of relief "im going to go see what my father wanted to talk about and ill be back" I say and head for the door looking back at my mate one more time before I leave and head up to my fathers office.
