Theo stared at his phone, perplexed and a little annoyed. Why hadn’t Katie answered him? For three days now, all of his messages, no matter how he sent them, had gone into a void where she wasn’t responding. He needed to call her. Their missed meeting on Wednesday had likely upset her, though Theo couldn’t even really remember what had happened this past week.
