“Good Afternoon Herb, seem we have new neighbors”
“Yes Sir, I am still waiting on the young ladies to let me know their names seems like they are still in aww of the place.”
As Lily and I are listening to Herb and Mr. Lowe’s conversation. Lily and I totally checking out Mr. Sexy Lowe out and Lily leans into me to whisper in my ear “DIBS” I just shake my head at her. Lily seems to hear Herb and introduce herself to Herb and Mr. Lowe.
“I am so sorry Mr. Herb and Mr. Lowe, I am Lily Jones, and this is my best friend Ashlee. We are just moving in today.”
“It is very nice to meet both of you but please call me Herb”
“Of Couse”
“It nice to have new neighbors in the building, I am Peter Lowe please just call me Peter. We are you lovely ladies from.”
“Ashlee and I are from the south.”
“Aww well welcome to New York ladies, if you have no plans for lunch, I can take you both down to the diner on the corner, they have really good food.”
“We would love too right Ash?”
“sure” she said with a shy smile.
We finally say our goodbyes and we reach our floor; thank god he lives a floor above us. We finally reach our door and open to open space living room with huge windows, around the corner from the door is the large kitchen with all new appliance top of the line. Off the kitchen is one hallway the has one bedroom and off from the kitchen is other hallway with the master bedroom. Lily told me the I could have the master, but I refuse. You see Lily has had boyfriends and most likely will need more privacy then me. I have never had a boyfriend never been kissed by a boy. I was so focused on getting out of that small town that I studied and work my ass off the get a degree to save money to move. I just want something more than a small-town life. So, I stayed focus and here I am now. The only thing that does suck about working our ass off the get to where I am now is that I have no clue how to talk to guys or even where to start. I go into my room is quite simple white walls and queen size bed and a walk in closet and next to my room will be my bathroom/ guest bathroom. I am getting my settle and Lily comes bouncing in my room letting me know that it time to meet Peter down in the lobby for lunch.
“Hey girl is you ready to meet Mr. Sexy?”
Rolling my eyes at Lily.
“Sure. Are you sure that you don’t want to go have lunch by yourself with him?”
“ No we are going to get you to start talking to guys starting today, that way come Monday morning you are not stuttering in front of your totally sexy ass boss”
Rolling my eyes again at Lily, which happens a lot let me tell you.
“fine let me find something to wear”
I decided to wear pair of wash out skinny jeans and black crop top along with my black boots and jean jacket.
Lily is wearing a cute dress that makes her boobs look great but doesn’t show too much.
“Wow Lily you look stunning I thought it was just lunch not a date”
“oh, shut up, I just want to impress our new neighbor”
“Lily I think you have more on your mind the just impressing”
“so, what he is a Greek f*****g god I would love to be able to get him in my bed and worship like he deserves now let’s get going.”
We are heading down to the lobby to meet Mr. Greek god as least that is what Lily calls him. When we arrive, he is already there waiting for us in a pair of dark blue jeans and a green button up shirts. I have to say he is very sexy man.
“Hello Ladies, you both look good. Are you ready for your welcome lunch?”
Hello Peter, says Lily with a little giggle in her voice.
“Hello Peter”
Peter say hello to both of us as we start walking down the street but what caught my attention way, he had his hand on Lily’s lower back and you can total she her blushing from the contact which is really cute. Peter and Lily are walking in front of me having their own conversation, which I don’t mind like I said not very good at talking to me. When we finally made to the diner, I was shocked it looks like the one we have back home, I am kind glad of cause if I ever get homesick, I can come here. Peter is leading us to a table as he pulls out a sit for Lily, I decided to take my own seat. An older lady comes up to the table to say hi to Peter.
“Hello Peter, how are you dear. We have missed Eric and you. You boys need to stop working so hard.”
Hi Mama Anna, we are both doing good, Eric will be here shortly to join me and these two lovely ladies. Ladies this is Mama Anna she is the owner of the diner and Mama Anna This is Lily and Ashlee they just moved into our building so Eric and I are taking them to lunch to welcome them.
Lily and I both stood up to say Hi to Mama Anna, Mama Anna say how lovely it was to meet both girls. Just the the bell to the diner chime getting their attention, the girls both grasp at the Greek god that walk through the door.
would not be but you have the one thing that those don’t have. You my Ashlee have strength and willpower not to act like that at work.
