A young king with his magnificent crown enterd as the door opens. The princess caught his attention as his smile grew wider. He was so attractive that the princess and king's presence made the room appeared brighter. He was the head of state of one of the Valendia's richest and most mighty kingdoms. "Oh princess, why did you get yourself ready in less than an hour? Why in a hurry? Take the whole damn day for yourself." He taunts her raising a brow and she chuckles in response. The maiden smile looking at them in awe, they are great siblings. Their faces almost looked the same as one can tell, they were siblings. He walked towards the princess and stood in front of her. "I tried so hard to overcome my habit of always eating breakfast with you, but I just can't... You make me wait even though you are aware that I can't eat without you. How should I punish you, Princess Violet?" It's not a new sight for servants to behold, he remarked, crossing his arms in a cute manner. After all, occasionally their majesty would forget that he was the king in front of his sister and start acting cutely simply for a princess. He turned, giving the slaves a sharp glance, looking at all of them observing if they were really his slaves. Her scrutiny softened, and her thick black lashes cast a shadow beneath her dark purplish eyes. She also studied the four of them as if she were a seasoned general and they were her ragtag soldiers. The maids lowered their heads in respect while their hearts started beating faster. She nodded at Ede before Ede ordered the other maids to go out, "Good Morning, Brother." She stepped forward and instantly wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him. The king smiled and instantly hugged her back. "After all the efforts of these maidens finally make you look at least a bit presentable." He teased her again. "You always got jealous of me. It isn't new." She said with a smile and hug him warmly. Violet broke the hug and put her right hand on his chest, wiping the nonexisting dirt. "Let's go." He said softly. "Sure but first I need your permission Ele." "You wanna go out from the palace?" One of Violet's lengthy persimmon braids was tangled between her fingers as she twitched nervously. Violet's eyes widen as he detects her question. She beams. "You are aware that one of our royal physicians is currently ill, so I wish to visit him. He gave me a lot of medical knowledge. I am appreciative of him. Before something bad happens, I want to meet him, brother." In her cryptic remarks, she alluded to death. The Royal Doctor, an elderly human being who nevertheless belonged to a very high social class, was admitted to his bed because he was ill. It is unknown how long he will live. "And I also had to pick my painting from a painter," Violet continued. Slowly, she spoke. "I will send the servants, you don't have to go." His words were still the same as before; Printed. Indeed a low profile was certainly one of her specialities, but not this time. Getting into trouble was her goal for a change, she usually does this. "Brother please." She pouted her lips as she really wanted to go out of this castle. "Violet, you are not a teenager anymore." "Why? I want to go out!" She hold his hand giving her order but she knew he will not let her go if she start asking stubbornly, making him angry. "You shouldn't be visible to anyone outside, please. Violet, it's for your own security." He made an effort to comprehended that a princess should not be left unattended. Onlookers are waiting for the royals to emerge, so they can harm them. The four Kingdoms get along well, but that doesn't mean the enemies are from another world. We don't know where they are or who they are. Hiding like a Jackal. "You always keep me hidden from everyone, but today I'm leaving. I'll bring my buddy, as I always do." Princess expressed her displeasure in this matter clearly; she was not afraid of enemies, but she wanted to go out and she will go alone. She was not going to stay in this castle for more than an hour. "He's not your personal bodyguard. He is the commander of our troop. He had other things to do." With his hand on his back and standing tall, King stated that his figure dwarfed Violet's. She is tall, but in comparison to Elmer, she is still small. She has to look up at him to see his face clearly. Princess argues by opening her mouth. "Does it really matter, brother? You are well aware that no one will be expecting a witch like me. No one wants to be near me because of the curse I carry." She screamed out everything that was bothering her. Violet comes to a halt when she notices her brother's painful expressions. She lowers her gaze to the ground. Ede, the maid, remains in the room while the others exit the princess's room after bowing to King. Ede's eyes widened and her heart beat faster than usual, knowing how difficult it was for King Elmer to remain silent in this situation. He had baulked the first time he heard her because she always used one to go out on a mission. He'd said with disdain, "She doesn't have to use these tricks." Violet recalleded her embarrassment. She turned her humiliation into determination in the weeks that followed. Weakness made you a target, and Violet had promised herself a long time ago that she would never again be a target. She buried her shame beneath meticulously crafted armour. Insults couldn't get through. But now she's standing there in embarrassment once more. It was extremely painful for him to learn what his people thought about his only sister. He previously stated that Princess Violet was not a black witch. Nonetheless, some people continued to speculate on the theory behind this. That's right, he's still concerned about people, especially vampires. They can't stand the witch for a second, but Violet is a princess, so they remain silent after the king says the princess isn't a witch. She is the infamous daughter of the white witch and a vampire. No one had ever seen her face as the witches are meant to be ugly, but when she has been out in the public ceremony hall. Many princes, dukes and pureblooded vampires and vampiress had seen her. They all were stunned by Princess Violet's beauty but later said may be she had done some spell on herself to look this much prettier than them. With new treaties signed among the kingdoms allowing settlement of the Valendia's good, one by one the thieves complaints started to came to the King, which was another serious matter, who is robbing his kingdom? Because nowadays, it had been a ruckus in the kingdom that some thieves are roaming around in Álencia. They come robbed and then flew away suddenly. Those whom they stollen and with a left to go live in wide-open spaces, there is no clue which they had left. The dukes of this kingdom Álencia with some troops were investigating about this matter together. Some said it's witches doing, they were here but Violet doesn't think this is true. What she knew or heard from Elmer and Armen's discussion a little while ago, she knew it was someone from Valendia, most likely one of their kind vampires, because there was also a case where the vampires had killed a human family by drinking blood until they were no longer alive. He eyed her, his brow furrowed in a question, and then he scowled, reaching for his side, but then princess added, "He will be with me anyway, why don't you come with me instead of giving orders." This time princess folded her arms on her chest which brought a smile to Elmer's handsome face. He leaned back satisfied with her tricks. He rubbed his bristled chin. "Violet, I'm preoccupied with this week's public court; there's a serious matter I need to conduct an investigation. Do you think being king is simple? I am not that teenager Elmer who took you out and play with you." "Fine, I will be back in the evening," Violet said, looking away this time towards Ede who stood there like prey on the battlefield. "Okay. But I am still against sending you out because I don't want to cage you up in the castle." Says Elmer crossly. His bushy brows lifted, and he nods his head in approval. "Thank you. I love you, Brother." She clapped her hands in happiness, she look at Ede and give her a meaningful look as the maid bowed and walk out of the room. "Stop being cheesy. You must return for lunch, not dinner. Do you fully understand?" Violet raised her hands in defiance in response to Elmer's commands. How can she beat the Almighty King of Álencia? "Okay, okay just as you say, My majesty." His scowl turned to a reluctant grin, and he replaced the dagger look in his smiling face. She bows her head elegantly taking her long red dress up from her feet. It was his acknowledgement of confidence on her. "I cherish you. As a result, don't take advantage of it. You understand it's for your own protection. You are entirely my responsibility because our father entrusted me with you. He stated I would never let you weep and would do whatever to make you happy. That doesn't imply you should try to exploit it. You are my entire world." "Finally, you admitted that I am adorable. Despite the fact that everyone compliments me." Violet folded her hands over his arm as they walked out of the room conversing. He was usually protective of her, but last year, after being hidden for many years, she attended the Royal event, where many kings and princes saw her. Elmer began to be more cautious, defensive, and protective of her.
