Sandra picked up her purse, checked her phone, then glanced at herself in the mirror one last time.
Satisfied, she adjusted her hair and made her way out of the room. Emily watched her for a moment, shaking her head with a small smile before she followed her.
They got outside, and Sandra unlocked the car. They both got in, and Sandra didn't waste any time and drove off. Emily fastened her seatbelt and looked out the window as the familiar streets passed by.
