An hour passed and Clarrisa and Dallas spoke about their lives. They discussed their jobs, primarily how she came into owning her own auto-repair business. Dallas seemed to take a genuine interest in everything she had to say. Aside from the times Loco nearly pulled his arm off, his eyes never left hers. She had his full attention.
Clarissa was very perceptive. She knew Dallas liked her. There was no other reason for him to randomly walk his dog to where she lived. And groom himself prior to the walk. Furthermore; in all the months she'd lived in the area, she never once saw him walking his dog anywhere near her home. She more or less dismissed his attraction to her. He didn't stand a chance.
After enough time passed, Dallas and Loco went on their way, leaving Clarissa to finish the work
