The visit to Dr. Summers was quick work, to say the least. I had already made up my mind about being turned. I just needed the facts and the risks. Which I kind of already knew.
Jacob will bite me. It's gonna be deep, much more profoundly than what Hugo did. The process is painful, and it's impossible to say how long it will take. The worst-case scenario is death. But just like Lucas, she believes that I'm meant to be turned. Hopefully, if everything goes according to planes, I'll be a werewolf within hours of the bite. Dr. Summers ended the meeting by telling me that: when my head feels like it's about to split, the process is nearly over. Apparently, that's how others before me have described it.
We said our goodbyes and left with the promise to book an appointment soon. Dr
