Revenge is a dish best served cold, sometimes the coldest thing is to hold no grudge. Why waste so much energy? If forgiveness is a step to far just let it go, they will continue to remember why should you?

Alec

I can feel my plans slipping through my fingers, I can't believe she would throw our bond away! "Oh, because you chose to cherish her?" I hear Kieth snipe at me. that was different though that was before I knew what she was. "Don't you mean who?" Kieth asks me. Do you ever shut up?An unnatural silence fills my head as for the first time in a long time Kieth is the one to shut the link. Great now I have two divas to deal with. I guess kissing her sister in front of her might have been taking things a little to far. Really though to give this random stranger a chance and a fighting edge over me? Suddenly Kieth bursts back through into my thoughts, "Has it popped into your thick skull to wonder how she was treated to wonder what happened to make her willing to do this?" No, not once I say, as I go in search of Althea and Alpha Lucian, maybe they will tell me.

Alpha Lucian

My daughter was not an omega but an Omega, a fabled peace bringer, the only wolf outside packs rank. Not even capable of being called a rogue. Now I have to hope she doesn't reveal the truth about the way she has been treated. Just my luck, he comes to me to ask why she is the way she is.

"Why is she so afraid to trust?" he asks.

"Well, she tends to be spoiled and very selfish. So to counter that we have treated her as a servant." I tell him.

I'm surprised when he uses his authority to demand the truth, what made him question me an Alpha? There must be a reason he knows this isn't the truth.

" She officially gave her second chance mate a chance." he says looking angry.

"Who is her second chance, I'll order him to reject her." I state surprised he hadn't thought of it.

"The Lycan King Lionel." he states

THE LYCAN KING!! If he finds out she was abused in my house he will kill anyone who had a hand in it.I can't let him win her over. I call Althea to me with our mind link I know she will seduce him if I tell her to. She is after all an Alpha competitive above all else, and what better prize than the king of Lycans?

Althea

I can't believe this s**t! Not only did that pathetic b***h get an Alpha Ultra as her mate but a lycan not just a lycan a king. What is so damn special about her besides her marks or lack of my wolf is better stronger and faster, so of course I will seduce her second chance mate then when she rejects him I'll take Alec too. It's not like she could fight back.

Lionel

I follow my mates scent to find her sleeping on the floor in what looks like a closet, but smaller. I hear her shift in her sleep before she realizes she is not alone, I hate that the small room immediately smells of her fear. "I guess we no longer have to wonder why we got our chance." Rays It's heart breaking knowing because she wont fight for herself she suffered when she should have been treasured.

" I'm sorry, I didn't mean to over sleep." The first words out of her mouth confuse me.

"Do you know what time it is little mate?" I ask.

""What does that matter? I should have had breakfast ready." she asks looking confused.

I struggle not to show my rage, "So you have overslept if someone is hungry?" I ask trying to make sure I understand.

The door is suddenly thrown open and my mates sister walks in without much clothes on. I stiffle my growl of annoyance. She walks over to me licking her lips like the would be breeder she is.

"Don't worry that lazy b***h will make breakfast, mean while why don't you and I go do something together?" she asks suggestively, running her hand over my arm.

"First off, stop walking around in underclothes, second that's my mate do not disrespect her, and three I ran into four unmated males who all wore your scent yesterday, I don't like sluts. Don't touch me." I growl out. How can she be related to my mate I wonder to myself. "Maybe we are supposed to save her from them?" Rays muses.

Aleah

I roll over and smell that I am no longer alone, apologize before i get beat. In the middle of our conversation Althea walks in and my heart sinks. As I watch she tries to seduce my mate and this time instead of me getting hurt he rejects her, he actually rejects her! Lillith howls her joy, as I feel a wave of revulsion for my sister flow through me yet not from me. " It's our second chance mate bond," Lillith explains "as we trust him the bond will get stronger and slowly Alec's bond will fade completely." A wave of joy, my own, so thick and full I can almost taste it flows through me.

"Has it been so bad that simply turning down a w***e makes you so happy my mate?" he asks.

Unsure how to answer I look at the ground, I should not talk bad about my pack.

"Don't ever hide from me little mate." He growls.

Startled I look up, and he smiles at me "I felt your joy." he explains.
