Choices

We all make choices, we all have a destiny, they sound like opposites, and yet they are the same regardless. A simple left turn can change it all in just one second. A blink can change everything.

Aleah

The door bell rings and I rush to answer it, old habit. I open the door and stand there stunned. "Who ordered the smoking hunk with an extra side of yum?" I swear Lillith is such horn dog. I also kind of have to agree though, then I smell it, summer rain in the dessert. He was my second chance? He was seven foot of tattooed, rippling muscle with black hair. All in all screaming RUN.

"MATE!!!!" he snarled snatching me in close and snuffling my neck like boundaries much but I feel irritated. At least until I hear an earth shaking roar of rage. He doesn't seem concerned at all though. Then I realize he is a lycan and I start to shake with myrth. Alec thinks he is going to beat a lycan? That's when I realize by accepting his claim of being his second chance mate I can chose to reject Alec! it wont matter if he accepts it or not.Just like that as I touch his arm and feel warmth spread from my palm all through me. I may be wrong but one of them came to find me and the other only wanted my wolf. I know it's seems selfish but I wanted that choice.

Alec

Getting ready for my date with Aleah I heard the door bell and Kieth snarled, "Don't let her answer that!" I suddenly felt shock then a pain in my chest, followed by an awful sence of hollowness. "She has seen her second chance mate, now if she chooses to accept his claim of being her second chance, even the mate-bond will be in his favor."Kieth snarls at me. I block him out as I run down the stairs to see him holding her and I roar the only warning he gets before he dies.

"Down pup." is all he says with a smirk. I feel my stomach hit the floor as Kieth whines in submission.

"You stupid fool!! He is the lycan king we owe a life debt for our entire family to. Don't you ever use that thing above your mouth?"

Lionel

That stupid pup dares to roar at me? I should kill him but I don't want to scare my mate. She is tiny, my mate, but fierce. So instead I put the young alpha ultra in his place reminding him of real power.

"I am calling in all my favors. You will allow her to adopt the pup Madeline, and relinquish both of them to my pack, unless in one month you can convince her to take you back." I state.

"Don't you think I should be the one to give him a time frame?" my little mate asks, sounding amused and annoyed. she is right, it is her choice but I don't want to give this pup anymore time than I absolutely have to.

"If you get to pick the time frame can I have your name?" I ask

"Aleah, and he has two weeks," she says looking straight at him " if you couldn't keep it together for five minutes two weeks will be impossible for you. However just so there are no misunderstandings,' I Aleah of the Silverwater pack do hear-bye accept Lycan King Lionel as my second chance mate.' I know it puts things in his favor but hey you have how many years of a head start proving how much I don't mean to you right?"

"Our little mate has a temper." I can feel Rays purr his approval, until the last part when he howls wildly with joy. "As we win Aleah over we will begin to feel more of a mate bond, he will feel less and less of it.Nice of her really otherwise he would feel an ache for the rest of his life."
