Sweet and Sticky
It's been a week since the last time we saw each other. I was unexpectedly assigned to take care of a project out of town. It was so sudden that I couldn't even see her face before I leave. But thank God I was able to finish it earlier than I expected. This afternoon, I'll be driving home towards her. The home to which I've longed so much. We were always talking through phone calls each day and exchanging messages when we can but feeling her warmth, hearing heartbeats from excitement, seeing her stunned from my affection, all of this.
