Chapter 6

Shin

Plates and forks clink against each other as we all eat in silence nobody spoke until finally I believe Song Ju's grandpa open his mouth.

"How long do you guy know each other?" he says

I look up towards him, like that caught me off ground.

"Two years grandpa" Song Ju says

"We met at dance class" I say

"Oh hip-hop" Song Ju's mother says glaring at me.

"Honey, I don't think that's wise. I apologize for my wife's behavior Mr. Han" Song's father says

I feel hands on my thighs as and I look at Song Ju's he gives me a warm smile, I do the same to him then we hear somebody clear their throats and see it's the lady beside Chin.

"So how far along are you?" she asked

"One month and two days" I says

I smile but she doesn't return it as she looks at Chin.

"Yeah, I have a photo would you like to see" Song Ju says

"Why do you have a photo?" Chin says

"At least I didn't told her to kill it" Song Ju said

"Chin Hye Su!" their grandpa roared, slamming the table

I jump a little scared, his grandfather saw this and calm down.

"Sorry child didn't mean to scare you. Sometimes my grandson can be stupid" he says

"It's fine, I guess we were all in shocked at the time I know it wasn't planned" I say

"But a great blessing to the family though, you raised a nice daughter so nice and kind Mr. Han" the grandfather says

"Yes, but I hope you know she still has to continue with her studies" my dad says

Chin

I saw hurt in Leigh's eyes when Shin said one month she knows I was with a woman that night but I didn't know if she knew it was Shin I was talking about.

"How old are you child?" my grandfather says

"I'm sixteen sir" she says

I choke on my food, holy f**k!

"You okay?" Leigh says

I nod my head as I cough and grab some water drinking it down.

"Excuse me" I say

I get up from the table, and towards the bathroom, I splash some water on my face, I end up staying in the restroom just checking my emails when I finally came back out the group was getting ready to leave.

"Sorry business call" I say

I help Leigh as Mr. Han and my grandfather talk, I see Song Ju and Shin with her brother walk ahead of us.

"Shin, what will you do about dance class?" Her brother says

"Don't worry Jin, I'll be there so she doesn't over work maybe only and hour dance diffently no spinning or lifting or jumping" Song Ju says

"I don't know about the hour dancing part but the rest will be a no" Shin says, giggling.

We are out of the place waiting on our cars.

"You want me to drive you home?" I hear Song Ju

"No I'll go with my brother, I'll see you tomorrow at class?" She says

I look at them as Song Ju nods his head and leans in giving her a kiss on the cheek I bite inside my cheeks and look away.

"Hey you okay?" Leigh asked me

"Yeah just thinking about the business trip" I say

"Okay" she says nodding her head

I turn back to Shin as she waves goodbye to Song Ju and leaves. Soon my ride comes and I take us home.
