Chapter Four: Thoughts

"It's been really a long time since we met Alpha Jerry," Alpha Lucian said as he came out of his room, walking towards Jerry who stood by the door.

Jerry walked in with open arms as he reached out to Lucian and hugged him. A creaking sound was heard as they both looked towards the direction in which the sound came from.

They spread their hands wide open as their fingers sprouted out sharp claws, their faces turned hairy as fangs sprouted from their mouths ready to attack as they bent in a wolf-like manner.

"There's no need to panic." Klaus said, smiling at both alphas who were already in an attack position. He held the door knob as he shut it.

After the door was shut, both alphas looked at each other's faces in relief as they stood up. The hair on their faces immediately vanished.

Lucian lifted his hands, looking at his fingers as the claws went back into his nails.

Jerry gave Lucian a relieving smile as they both looked at each other.

"You've still got the strength of an alpha even at your middle age" Lucian said as he gave a rather little smile.

"Of course I do, you're even more vicious than ever", Jerry teased, as they both walked to the door, into the woods.

"I got your invitation," Jerry said.

"Thanks for honouring my invitation," Lucian said with a smile on his face as he held Jerry by his shoulder. I wanted advice on who to choose as a bride, but truth be told, I didn't really have any in mind.

"You are an alpha, you can get any woman you want as a wife", Jerry said with a smile on his face.

There was silence for a while, Klaus looked at Jerry with a forceful smile. "Very well my friend, I believe you made a point there. I …..." Jerry interrupted. "My niece is up to age with no suitor."

"Hold up, you mean your late elder brother's child, Clara? Lucian said, looking surprised.

"The very one, my friend," Jerry said, smiling.

"I'll love her hand in marriage, I want her to be brought before me as soon as possible," Lucian commanded.

"I don't think that's a good idea, you don't have to command me around, I'm an Alpha of my park as well as you are. Besides, that's her decision to make, not mine. I can't make decisions in her life, especially not this one." Jerry frowned and paused for a while.

Jerry placed his hand on his jaw as he caressed his beard on his lower jaw, "My brother, her late father wouldn't want that for her, I'll have to discuss this with her". Jerry said, looking pissed off.

"I'll want you to think about what I just told you, I want her to be my Luna." Lucian said as he walked off.
